When G4 bought TechTV the management gave him the impression that everything would still be exactly the same (All the TechTV and G4 shows left alone). When he found out what G4's true intentions were with buying the channel (just buying it in order to gain more households), he felt betrayed and left.

Look at my site. Here you will see the windows at 4MHz Z80 processor (i8080 clone) and 160Kb of RAM - a computer compatible ZX Spectrum. Everything is on one disk. I really recommend it especially to see Mr. Gates and Balmer, o)

Your right about the OS but Mac doesn't have dual SLI or true ATI Xfire support. Just look at their notebooks they are using hardware that is 3 generations old now. I think Apple needs to catch up to be competitive again!

compared apples to apples PC is better than Mac, read my post below, Mac doesn't have the same hardware functionality as PC and Apple's notebooks hardware is 3 generations old now. We are into i7-920MX technology while Apple is still using the old Core 2 Duo which came out 3 generations ago.

I think all games for windows should have achievements that would increese the market for pc games and it would boost gamer scores for people who don't have an xbox. because i look at people gamer cards and I see they have like 300 Gamer points where I have over 600 cuz of the xbox. but if all GFW not just live had achievements that would be awesome. so would you all help me make that happen and improove DLC for PC and put achievements on all new games. -thanks

My sentiments exactly. I have an Xbox 360 but I play PC games more. I was pissed when I found out that BIOSHOCK and MASS EFFECT was not in the "Games for Windows Live" program.

All Macs now have NVIDIA graphics cards. They also run Windows as well.

It's not that macs aren't able to use SLI because a single GOOD card will run most games fine, take a 9800GT for example.

It's just the selection of games on a mac is pathetic. I know you can use windows...But then your not using a mac, your using a Windows machine.

I don't see SLI as being important, Steams hardware survey says that only 2% of Steam users (all of which are gamers) use SLI. It only adds around a 40% performance increase at best.

Anyway, why the hell would you choice a mac?

Also...I only mentioned the 9800GT because its affordable and relativity fast.

SLI is extremly good on high performance games

it increases crysis's framerate from 40 to 70 (no VertSync of course)

maac is just teh worst for gaming period.

Mabye when Onlive comes out (it allows macs and pcs to play all games and is interesting technology)

I don't like this Onlive buisness, I don't doubt that it will work, because they have hyped it so much it would be a commercial suicide if it failed.

I just don't like the idea of that form of digital distribution. Don't get me wrong, I love Steam...

But what about mods etc...

I've heard so many people say that they love steam. But I have yet to realize why. I had one game on steam because it required me to install it with the game. I found steam slow (even on my 3.0ghz core 2 duo), annoyingly in the way, and quite pointless like most DRM tools. What about steam makes it so lovable? is it the fact that steam makes you have another process open while playing your game? or that you have to update with the latest patch before you even play the game in single plr mode? ug

if you want a good gaming pc for not too much...go with vista 64bit...runs games much faster...and always start with SLI or CROSSFIRE boards, other wise your probably going to screw yourself over in the end...

Duh it was all made for XP -- Vista wasn't even out when Half Life 2 was made (all the games on the Orange Box are based on HL2). Games MADE for Vista run better on Vista.

Not so sure. Vista runs my games perfect. You just need a gaming system. 7's code was directly based off Vista's, not XP's. Just been updated a bit..
