@nikoshurricane Hammer on and pull off. Hammer or slam your finger down without picking to sound a note. Pull or "flick" off the string also without picking to sound a note.

@nikoshurricane - H is 'Hammer On' and P is 'Pull Off' - e.g. E|---5h7--7p5--| means pluck the E (lowest) string with your fretting hand index finger on fret 5 and 'hammer' your third (ring) finger onto the 7th fret without plucking. Then pluck the same string with your third finger on the E string 7th fret (with your index finger ready on fret 5) and pull off without plucking leaving first finger on fret 5. I can't understand why people always bitch and complain when a bass player plays with a pick, what is the difference? there are some very good bass players out there who play with picks and there are some very good players who play without picks, its up to the players preference.

@bailamosmundolatino I don't own it anymore, but I'm sure it was a Yamaha RBX170. Being Yamaha it's probably made in Japan. It did have a nice sound. I had it running through a guitar POD, and that really added to the tones you hear even though it wasn't a bass POD. I just saw one on Ebay for £166. They're very cheap basses. Hope that helps.
