Why is belize so looked down on? I have never been there but between this 7 day legend and the 5 day im looking at, I cant decide. I have NEVER been on a Carnival cruise and they have a terrible reputation for quality compared to the others, kinda scares me. But, there is really nothing else going on in the end of April to go on besides a Carnival. Any tips here? Weve been to the rest of those ports and they are just ehh overall.
just got back from this cruise. the wife and i didn't even get off the ship to go into belize. we heard this wasn't much there plus we didn't wanna take the 40 min tender in. other then that, the cruise was fun.
@pilze0 me and my girlfriend also are going on this cruis this month, were going on the 30th! this will be my 4th cruise but my girlfriend has never been to the carribean nor seen a cruis ship so thatll be fun for me lol.
ive been on 3 other carnival cruises but my girlfriend has never been to the tropics or really anywhere before aside coming to the states from england so i booked us a cruise for her to enjoy! this will be my first time on the legend but ive been on the destinations(or itenerary before). I think she will be in culture shock and aw at all the places she"ll see not to mention the fact that shes never been on a ship like this before. awsome video and great music choice by the way! the vids a story!
I leave this morning for my 3rd cruise on the Legend (8th cruise so far). I love this ship, by far one of my favorites in the fleet. I'm so excited cant get to sleep. lol Great video, hope you all had a good time. :)
We went to Belize and not Costa Maya. I heard for some reason Carnival is cutting back on the number of Belize stops they do. I wouldn't be upset about that though--we really didn't enjoy Belize that much.
Good stuff! My Wife and I leave on the same cruise next week, did you guys go to Costa Maya also? I swear the beach club, Nohoch kay is at that port. We were just told two wks ago by Carnival that we are not going to Belize, but are going to Costa Maya instead. Any info would be great, thanks, Keep cruising!!!
Belize is the only place I wouldn't use local taxis. We had a very hard time with our taxi driver, and we ended piggy backing on a ship's tour of the ruins anyway. For Grand Cayman definitely just taxi yourself. It's very cheap and the locals are very easy going.
my wife and I are sailing on April 17th .....first off we enjoyed the different views you showed was nice to get an idea of what the cruise will be like......why be careful in Belize? How about the seven mile beach did you taxi there we want to go but dont know if we use carnival people or locals on these islands
Yes that was the aft pool, adults only. I can't remember exactly what time it was on the first sea day. Probably around noon. It got a little busier, but it was never too hectic back there. That was the only pool we used.

Enjoy! And be careful in Belize...I'd highly recommend a ship's excursion there.
