I was at the festival in 2000 and the NIN concert was the first concert I attended at Roskilde. Back then it was my first Roskilde Festival and NIN was the first concert I attended there. At the time I didn't know much about NIN other than having heard their old hit Closer. If you think the band looks like their high on stage, I can tell you it was equally matched by the fans in front of the stage. ;)

Alot of rain that year. Didn't stop people from coming though. :)

Trent Reznor is truly a God among men. Who else would be brave enough to choose the pudding basin haircut and go on stage? Speaking of video game references that nobody will get, Nine Inch Nails always reminded me of Soul Reaver for some weird reason. At least in this era they do. Probably because he looks like Raziel before he was thrown into the Abyss. But I'm sure nobody understands a word of this, unfortunately.
