His subject of sexually bastardized and techno-organic humans are referencing the apocalypse.
I think his work feels like what I imagine the wold to be like not long form now... a desolate landscape of humanities failures and canabalism of iself... the music makes it really chilling... awesome.
Giger really blows me away. I think he would do well designing xenos for Warhammer 40K art or even a movie. That would be neat.

Not really. You get used to it after a while. Actually it's the dreams about mundane everyday things that really get to me.
But yeah, the art is very dark and speaks to that part of the soul. That has a lot to do with why H. R. Giger's art rocks so hard.
