@WastedPo Fluorosilicic acid that is primarily used in water fluoridation *does* include such contaminants you listed including arsenic and cadmium as well. The EPA doesn't have a standard on the levels because this fluoride acid is not considered (by them) to be a 'drug'. So, to answer your question, yes you are also getting these contaminants (lead and mercury) with the fluoride.

Geeeze people, do some research - well water is usually high in naturally occurring fluoride.

Most bottled & spring water contains 'natural' fluoride in differing quantities, but is not marked on labels. Tea leaves are high in fluoride content. Beer / wine / foods, produced in fluoridated areas contains fluoride. Fluoride's in pesticides, fertilisers, fumigants, drugs ... you name it, it's probably in it. Don't settle for removing it from your water - get it removed from your water SUPPLY!!!

Reverse osmosis removes 90%-98%. Distillation removes 99%-100%. You can buy a distiller for $100-$300 or buy pre bottled distilled water in the super market and some water stores have a distiller that you can dispense water from. Many European Artesian and spring waters don't have fluoride. Read the label. There ya go. That's three choices... Good luck.

Fluoride in toothpaste and fluoride in rinses, wears away tooth enamel. Throw away your fluoride stuff, and buy fluoride-free toothpaste from the health food stores. Make sure it says No Fluoride somewhere on the tube or label. The reason why apples and other things have fluoride in them is probably because they have been made and treated with fluoridated water. I don't know of a way to test things for fluoride other than in a lab.
