  • Wowwwwww

  • The original score of Porgy and Bess was on exhibit years ago at the Library of Congress, as was Ira's typewriter and George's piano. It was an amazing exhibit!

  • Beautiful <3

  • 1:42*.*

  • I need to say it: Fuck Yeah!

  • @FungusMossGnosis i second that emotion!

  • This is really beautiful. Thank you for sharing it. It sure would be fun to play. Is there a transcription. Better yet, would you just post something else. You don't just play Gershwin, it seems to come from you, like you're writing it. Musicians like you are a treasure to the rest of us. Thanks for playing.

  • @CDB97 Gershwin would never play it like this, this is a very stylized interpretation

  • This is pretty cool

  • This performance goes through so many moods - pure poetry. I WEPT because it is so beautiful. Gorgeous sequence of visuals. Would the anonymous pianist please send me the arrangement? (-Thank you in advance.)

  • Oh WOW! :-)

  • A Freudian slip, or parapraxis, is an error in memory that is believed to be caused by the unconscious 'mind'.. as a songstress who helps to prodigious twin pianist brothers Beau and Jeff ..etc

  • holy fuck (L) i envy this pianist

  • So who's playing this? I don't think it's Gershwin. The sound quality is too good.

  • what a great music...wish I could play like this...

  • die musik geht unter die haut!ausgezeichnet!

  • it means "the music goes more under strikes! distinguished!" in english

  • To mean it rather means 'the music gets under the skin! Excellent!'

  • Brilliant!

  • Awesome.. Simply wonderful :D

  • I was recently reading a biography of Rodgers & Hart and it mentioned that George Gershwin was the envy of every composer of his day because of his great virtuosity, and that Rodgers himself once commented that he'd "give his right arm to play like Gershwin." Brilliant.

  • This is ridiculously genius playing and writing!!!

  • I wish I could play it like this!
