yeah because YOU would know what the truth is. He's short and oddly shaped, his jaw is ugly and he has the squarest head I've ever seen. You won't find a lot of girls who find him attractive unless a) they have embraced him as Peeta in which case is Peeta the one they like or b) they grew up watching his movies. Daniel radcliffe is not as attractive but if you grew up watching HP you will find him superhot. Peeta should have been hotter.

At first I wasn't so sure, but after watching the trailer I couldn't picture anyone else as Peeta. He's got the gentle look and the broad shoulders. He'll be just perfect~
Stop getting so hung up on the looks. The book says he has Ashy Blond hair, which is not the blindingly bright yellow hair that comes to mind when you think "Blond". All that matters is whether he's good at playing Peeta, which I have confidence he will.
Seriously, why are people so hung up on his look? They can change a lot these days. The only thing that matters is whether or not he can pull off the performance and having seen much of his earlier work, I cannot think of anyone else I want in the this part. He is man for the job.

I do not think he is the perfect peeta... His personality maybe.. but honestly? he doesn't look at all like peeta, with or without dye.. I always imagined peeta being this handsome teenager with dirty blonde hair and blue eyes.. Lame. ;P
