All 4 lines from Inverness have them on them (Aberdeen, Aviemore (Perth), Kyle and Wick), but they are exclusive to the Wick and Kyle lines because of the Radio Electronic Block Token signalling. They do have plug sockets in the 'Business' (1st) class, but Standard im not sure about. On my trip I made sure I travelled in the 170's because theyre far better :D
cool,, well i will be getting the 0706 to wick on 26th may thats a tuesday, and getting the 1236 back to inverness, so will they be 170's?? Scribble bk :)
cooll,, i have booked standard class tickets on the net , but there was not a option for first class :S, do u think i will be able to just upgrade them on the day?? onboard the train
However that is one thing you have to love about Scotland like in Inverness - you are allowed to take pics and vids whenever you like - hence the guy not batting an eyelid walking back, unlike in London and the South East where I am based, where youre branded a terrorist
I do it often at Glasgow Central, and no one has ever bothered. Hell, a ScotRail worker even greeted me when I was filming at Platform 12 (formerly 11a). I want to move to Inverness some day within the next few years, so I really want to film at this station.
Ye i read about that, its Stupid tbh,, i live down in plymouth at nobody seems to have a problem, i was doing some spotting up in exeter st davids earlyer and the staff seem to be friendly enuff :)

about 98% chance of a refurb as the ones that are refurbed are Inverness based

do you have or know where i can see any pics of inside that unit? are the seats the same as they are in the FGW HST sets??
legendaryajn 3 years ago
They would appear the same, and carry the same basic design of grey plastic back, but they are fare more comfy and better spaced...
