Great part of album are songs previously unreleased in their first part of Van Halen's career.........but with a new sound, similat than "Me Wise Magic" and "Can't Get This Stuff No More" in their first recopilation album in 1996......I hope that they have luck and we can enjoy their music again!!

Love it! It's good to see Eddie and Dave back together again! I can remember hearing "Down in flames" and "Bullethead" on a bootleg tape at a gig they did in the 70's and thought it was way so good, I couldn't figure why it never showed up on any of they're records. Now, we get them both on the same cd!!! Awesome!

For those of you who are complaining about Eddie's guitar tone... he's not a blues guitarist in the 'purist' sense; never was, never will be. He's created his own tone, the 'brown sound'; & if you listen to the new album in full(this is the ONLY 'bad' song, the rest are fantastic), you'll here a return to a more basic approach, kind of like the old school 'brown sound', but updated & more modern. Eddie was never one to cop everyone else's tones & licks; he's an innovator, not an imitator.
