Ok, its "only" 7 Years for difference, but she is a mature, he is an underage. Luffy is a Little bit older than Hope ^^ And after the Timeskip (i have read) he is 19 O.o

What happens is after Luffy's two years of training Hancock has a ship all set up for him and tells him that it's full of his favorite foods and that it's quality's like that which would make her a good wife and Luffy says "I'm not marrying you!! Thanks for the food!!"

@PartOfLegend Actually so far neither of them tag along with Luffy.  Hancock has to protect her people because after the incident at the Marine Headquarters she is marked as a traitor and of course the Marines will be after her and the other girls. They run into the merman shicibukai at fishman island but it doesn't look like he'll be joining them, he actually got in a fight with Luffy and it looks like he won.

@Kirdex90 i get the part when hancock has to stay behind and protect her "girls" guess she will appear again sometime in the future for sure ....but the former shicibukai ( the fish guy ) promised Ace he will look after luffy so i asumed he joins the crew.....?!?! If u have read manga....does luffy get new crew members or the ones that are now remain ? ty :)) i like our little chats lol

@PartOfLegend Well the manga hasn't gone too far past the two years of training yet. At this point Luffy hasn't gained any new crewmembers and still has all his old ones. The former Shichibukai (fish guy) hasn't shown any sign of joining Luffy's crew yet but that could change in the near future.
