you're probably just a good shot overall. when you were doing your drill, you clearly had no concerns with set and pause, and did not freeze at home. i have difficulty with that as well. i really don't know how we can teach ourselves to friggen stay with the plan, when we are trying to execute a shot. as the shot selection gets tougher, and placement of the cue ball is needing to be more precise, we commonly revert back to bad habits...and most of the time, they don't get us in much trouble.
