I'm from Oklahoma. and there is a lake here called Foss Lake. All lakes here are man made and people say that that particular lake was built over a cemetary and that about ten years ago some bodys floated up they forgot to move. and about half of the people i know, including myself get really sick everytime we get in the water. maybe were sick from deterioration? or maybe its the moss, idk. but it happens alot. people always freak out when something swims by them, like its goin to get them.

I've never seen Friday the Thirteenth but, from what I've heard, the opening of this episode is similar to the film. The lifeguard is making out instead of watching the kid and he drowns. It's cool to have most of the episode set decades later though, with the lifeguard now an old man wracked with guilt.
