Last time I rode, the guy next to me took off his shoes and put them neatly on the floor (instead of stashing them in the pocket underneath the seat). He then asked me, "We're coming back to the same place, right?" Thinking quickly, I responded, "I sure hope so!"
The first time I rode this ride, I actually have a huge migraine that persisted most of the day. As soon as I rode this ride, it all went away and never came back. The scents, the "fresh air" the soothing visuals all made for the perfect pain reliever. Until I rode the Tea Cups at night, that is.
I was just at the park with my performing band class from Canada, and I had the opportunity and priviledge to ride this thing..
Even though it may not be the most thrilling and scary rides at the park, it's definetly one that stands out in my memory. The music is absoultely moving and powerful, and it's a ride that reminds me of Disneyland the very most.
this ride is SO RELAXINGGGGGG. I love it, and especially when you go over the orange grove and you can smell oranges!!! people were like, squeeling when i went on it once because they thought they were going to get their feet wet XD

This exact same ride is also at Epcot at Disney World. My very favorite ride EVER!!!! I just got back from down there and have ridden Soarin' at least 10 times. I have the Jerry Goldsmith piece too that's played on the ride- it's gorgeous!!!

Back when this was filmed the Rocket Rods was still running, if you look carefully at the disneyland segment you can see dark blurs in tomorrowland in front of light. It was filmed in Early 2000.

ive been on this ride like 10 times... last time i went we rode it as many times as every other ride in the park. it got to the point where i wouldnt even watch the screen, but be trying to see the mechanics and find out where the wind comes from.

Jerry Goldsmith did the same amount of music in Mulan before he died. His music is great for Laurie Lalami's favorite DCA attraction, Soarin' Over California. Fragrances of plants. Nice! Patrick John Warburton as our ride host? Sweet!
I rode this ride for the first time in July, and my brother who was on leave from the Navy at the time, came with us on vacation. And when the ship came up, we cheered really loud, and other people on the ride were ticked at us. lol.

I totally expected something different when I first rode it. When it lifted me up, and I saw the clouds, I shut my eyes right away (I was only 12, give me a break) but then I opened them, and saw how breathtaking this ride really is.
omg...I'm 12, and that is exactly what I did the first time. The fireworks scared me, lol. The wait in DisneyWorld is like 70 minutes, but It's pretty much worth it.
This ride was breathtaking I can't even put into words how great it is I also loved when you got into the building that they had the history of flight and the remembrance wall for the Colombia Spaseship
I must agree with you on that. It makes me so emotional when I see Tinker Bell igniting the sky with colorful fireworks and the skiers on the slopes of Lake Tahoe or maybe it was Yosemite.
Im going to disneyland today! So excited!
