As much as I LIKE Wario and Waluigi, I totally agree with NOT including them in Super Mario Bros Wii.
Wario games are entirely different from Mario Games. If you've ever played any of the Wario Land games, you'd know this.
Mario is all about jumping and shooting fireballs. Wario is not. He's about bashing things and throwing things. Putting him and his bro in this regular style of platforming kind of game would kinda ruin it for Wario fans.

I don't think Waluigi and Wario should have been in Super Mario bros. Wii, because they are both kinda evil, an they both hate Mario, so why would they want to save Peach??
I love Wario and Waluigi. I can't remember really why? Wario had good backstory and his own games are awesome. Now what comes to Waluigi? He wasn't even included in the latest Mariokart game on 3ds. I like your idea for putting Wario and Waluigi in the game. They could've being unlockable. First you could have beaten their own special levels in the game, maybe in like first or second world or all of 'em. When you've defeated Wariobrothers. You can play with them. Luigi was unlockable in ds.
I'm pretty sure the reason that Wario and Waluigi aren't in NSMBW, because they simply are not Super Mario Bros Characters in general. The Mainline Mario games has always been more about the Mario Bros., Peach, the Yoshis, Bowser, the koopalings, and the Toads. Wario and Waluigi would just feel out of place. Besides, Wario is more at home in the Wario Land games. It suits his style much more. Waluigi major purpose is to be roster filler. I don't think he would work well outside that.
yes i agree ive been playing the mario series games sence way back when he was called Jumpman and ive noticed nintendo is getting LAZY for example: in SMA2 every character had itsown ability mario being standard all around luigi having better jumping but less speed, toad beeing the fastest but having a lower jump and peach having the float ability guess what everyone liked the different character everyone liked the idea of that nobody else could ply exactly like them.
@RubenZCrazy89 I just cant help myself from remembering everytime i play NSMBW that what happend to luigi being able to jump like extreamly high and then toad being extreamly fast. and nintendo doesent have to make wario have a fart ablility. he has only used that in one game, super smash brothers brawl and it has been announced varius times that brawl is NOT a specific characters game but nintendo's in general.

I agree with you. If I ran Nintendo and all that I would not have made such an excuse. I think it's all going to his head and he's not getting new ideas anymore...And about them being in New Super Mario Bros Wii I find to be a very good idea. All I can say is now they need to make a download to where you can use Wario and Waluigi and a mode to where you can use ANY of the characters in 1 player mode.

They had to stick with the 4-player color scheme (Red-green-yellow-blue), if they did keep Toads, they should of made them Toad and Toadette, instead of two random generic Toads.
I've read the description and watched this, and you are completely missing the point.
A) Bowser joined Mario because in SMRPG, he was trying to get his castle back, and in SPM, he was forced into another dimension, and wanted revenge.
B) Miyamoto tries to use as little story as possible in side-scrollers. Wario and Waluigi would need a reason to join the Marios, and that would be adding in more story.
C) Luigi's jumps and running were changed. They had to fix that. They need equality.
@MADvsArt There Not good OR bad! Wario is neutral all his own he's only really Mario's Rival. Then what Gary Oak is a Bad guy in Pokemon with your logic. SUPER MARIO 64 DS who is on the cover...you called him what "A Bad Guy" So what if its a Remake He's on the good guy team for 1 game.

It was only said in issues of Nintendo Power, it was never confirmed by Nintendo. Just like how Waluigi was never confirmed to be Wario's brother. Because some games say they are, some games say they aren't. Another thing, putting Wario and god forbid Waluigi into NSMBW as player characters would be difficult because of Wario's belly size and Waluigi's height.

Why would Daisy stop ruleing her kingdom to save Peach? Peach didn't save Daisy, she sent Mario. So if anything, Daisy would send a soldier, not herself.
Wario wouldn't because there is nothing in it for him. And Waluigi was made by Camelot, not Shigeru Miyamoto. And therefor, doesn't exist.
Well, having characters with different abilities would possibly have messed up the multiplayer experience, as people would possibly argue about who'd be playing as who... I think...
Still, having them as mini-bosses would be fun.
Wario could fight with his immense strength and close-range movements (mainly punching)
Waluigi could use his bombs to fight off the main characters in a distance.
1. Wario plays nothing like Mario or Luigi. Also, his physical appearance would make it difficult to incorporate him into the game, he would have to have a brand new hitbox which would make him different than the other characters in the way he plays.
2. Waluigi is a joke character. His place is in the spin-off games and nowhere else.

Two very good points I will say since waluigi does have a semi good fan base even tho he is a joke character he is very respected. Would Nintendo really allow a company to create 4 CG cartoons for there sport title games with 2 characthers that ment NOTHING to them. Honestly I would of wanted them in the game only to replace the toads because toad NEVER EVER EVER saved the Mushroom Kingdom only in Mario's dreams. Why two toads named...TOAD get to fill in for those two is obserd.
One other reason I can counter your argument about wario. In super Mario 64 DS he was just a power house low jumping mario and technically its a main story mario game and he was included. But if Waluigi is indeed a joke character that would explain his absence in that game.
@branch3coff...the same ones they ported over from Super Mario 64 DS yeah real original...I think there is like 1 or 2 new ones in there but those are included in the DS game cuz it gives the player something to do if they bored of the adventure for the time being...
I agree with you but I am only saying the Mini Games in New SMB for DS were all ported from Super Mario 64 DS(REMAKE to the 64 version) The Wii Version didn't include Mini Games besides the 1 Up Bonus and the Item matching.
@RubenZCrazy89 I think the reason why the Mega Mushroom wasn't in New Super Mario Bros. Wii was because of the two player mode. I mean, how would that be with the Mega Mushroom?

Waluigi is a throwaway character. The only reason he exists is to fill in a spot in the Sports games. And Wario and Waluigi are usually antagonists anyway. The two aren't even canon, Wario hasn't appeared in any major mario game except Mario Land 2 and Mario 64 DS. Bowser is a "good guy" when it really helps him, like SAVING the world. NSMBWii, it's just saving the Princess. Can you imagine Wario and Waluigi saving the Princess without a selfish reason? No. Toads saving their princess? Yes.

waluigi hasn't been in a single action game. just sport games. why doesn't he have his own game yet too. i'm not a huge waluigi fan but they even gave peach a game. and he isn't even in a wario game
They made New Super Mario Bros. Wii to be like Super Mario Bros. Plus, they said all "4" Characters would be the "SAME", so if Wario (except, he wouldn't) was there having the Attack said on Description, it would be rated (E10+) hence (Mario Strikers Charged) and (SSBB), even Smooth Moves got E10+. About the Princess, they couldn't include her because of her Dress, (SMB2) had no problems.
In Super Mario 64 DS Wario had the exact same attacks as Mario and Luigi except Luigi Fluttered and Wario was weighed down. BUT whats stopping them from evening up there moves so all 4 characters could be in the game. 2 brothers and and not to start a flame war with anyone 2 who look as if they could be brothers because there is no fact that they are indeed brothers.
@RubenZCrazy89 The "Thing" that's stopping them is that they are "Anti-Heroes". Bowser was in the RPGs teaming with Mario but that was because there was a "Villain" greater than Bowser so he teams up with Mario. Wario, and Waluigi have no role to Team-Up with Mario and Luigi and Save Peach. Wario cares about Money and Waluigi has no specific for a Major Role yet. Toads worked because they help the Princess Peach.
Even so Wario and Waluigi may be anti hero's and Wario may only care about money but that didn't stop him from walking out the door after Mario saved him from endlessly being trapped behind a painting forever...so maybe there could be a future game for the same kinda reason maybe Wario and Waluigi could be in debt to the Mario Bros and help save the princess somehow someway
@RubenZCrazy89 Well, it was Luigi who save Wario from a Paint which came from a game which was a "Remake". "Super Mario 64 DS" was a remake to include extras, not a continuing adventure. It may be different, but it's just a remake. Plus, events of that game was that Wario visit the Castle, perhaps Coins from the Princess. Don't remember, but it was just a remake.
Ok take away the statistics and facts think like a fan I can obviously see you are one two your very knowledgeable. But I'm saying kids they don't pay much attention to games like mario...heck if its head don't come off it ain't a good game to them. But fans like us we like a lil something special ya know like lets say you beat the game though without the all the coins and you get Wario! and then once you open the special world you get Waluigi! you know like a little bounus.
I agree. Since the old gameboy games were Mario, Luigi, and Wario together. (YES in the gallary games there was all three together and wario was good) It should be Mario, Luigi, Wario, and have Waluigi since he's Wario's partner.

@ItsaMeMartin Cussing in an argument of a video game is always smart. I know quite a bit, thank-you. And no, I don't think that. It was only said in issues of Nintendo Power, it was never confirmed by Nintendo. Just like how Waluigi was never confirmed to be Wario's brother. Because some games say they are, some games say they aren't. Another thing, putting Wario and god forbid Waluigi into NSMBW as player characters would be difficult because of Wario's belly size and Waluigi's height.

Why would Daisy stop ruleing her kingdom to save Peach? Peach didn't save Daisy, she sent Mario. So if anything, Daisy would send a soldier, not herself.
Wario wouldn't because there is nothing in it for him. And Waluigi was made by Camelot, not Shigeru Miyamoto. And therefor, doesn't exist.

Well, having characters with different abilities would possibly have messed up the multiplayer experience, as people would possibly argue about who'd be playing as who... I think...
Still, having them as mini-bosses would be fun.
Wario could fight with his immense strength and close-range movements (mainly punching)
Waluigi could use his bombs to fight off the main characters in a distance.

Two reasons why they weren't in the game:
1. Wario plays nothing like Mario or Luigi. Also, his physical appearance would make it difficult to incorporate him into the game, he would have to have a brand new hitbox which would make him different than the other characters in the way he plays.
2. Waluigi is a joke character. His place is in the spin-off games and nowhere else.
What do you want? Do you honestly think you know how to make a game better than Nintendo does? It's not that easy.

Two very good points I will say since waluigi does have a semi good fan base even tho he is a joke character he is very respected. Would Nintendo really allow a company to create 4 CG cartoons for there sport title games with 2 characthers that ment NOTHING to them. Honestly I would of wanted them in the game only to replace the toads because toad NEVER EVER EVER saved the Mushroom Kingdom only in Mario's dreams. Why two toads named...TOAD get to fill in for those two is obserd.

One other reason I can counter your argument about wario. In super Mario 64 DS he was just a power house low jumping mario and technically its a main story mario game and he was included. But if Waluigi is indeed a joke character that would explain his absence in that game.

I agree with you but I am only saying the Mini Games in New SMB for DS were all ported from Super Mario 64 DS(REMAKE to the 64 version) The Wii Version didn't include Mini Games besides the 1 Up Bonus and the Item matching.

i don't know. wario and waluigi probably should just be in the sport gamers mostly because when making this game they wanted to go back to the good old mario. before they started adding chracters. wario and waluigi being this game may have not made since. then again they would probably be better then the sticken toads

I hear ya but Mario and luigi ARE twins from what I've heard and waluigi is a bit taller actually a lot taller than any other character and ratio is to strong and slow but yeah they shoulda been there also wario is a GOOD guy in super Mario 64 ds... But how would they make wario and waluigi small.

Waluigi is a throwaway character. The only reason he exists is to fill in a spot in the Sports games. And Wario and Waluigi are usually antagonists anyway. The two aren't even canon, Wario hasn't appeared in any major mario game except Mario Land 2 and Mario 64 DS. Bowser is a "good guy" when it really helps him, like SAVING the world. NSMBWii, it's just saving the Princess. Can you imagine Wario and Waluigi saving the Princess without a selfish reason? No. Toads saving their princess? Yes.

waluigi hasn't been in a single action game. just sport games. why doesn't he have his own game yet too. i'm not a huge waluigi fan but they even gave peach a game. and he isn't even in a wario game

They made New Super Mario Bros. Wii to be like Super Mario Bros. Plus, they said all "4" Characters would be the "SAME", so if Wario (except, he wouldn't) was there having the Attack said on Description, it would be rated (E10+) hence (Mario Strikers Charged) and (SSBB), even Smooth Moves got E10+. About the Princess, they couldn't include her because of her Dress, (SMB2) had no problems.

In Super Mario 64 DS Wario had the exact same attacks as Mario and Luigi except Luigi Fluttered and Wario was weighed down. BUT whats stopping them from evening up there moves so all 4 characters could be in the game. 2 brothers and and not to start a flame war with anyone 2 who look as if they could be brothers because there is no fact that they are indeed brothers.

@RubenZCrazy89 The "Thing" that's stopping them is that they are "Anti-Heroes". Bowser was in the RPGs teaming with Mario but that was because there was a "Villain" greater than Bowser so he teams up with Mario. Wario, and Waluigi have no role to Team-Up with Mario and Luigi and Save Peach. Wario cares about Money and Waluigi has no specific for a Major Role yet. Toads worked because they help the Princess Peach.

Even so Wario and Waluigi may be anti hero's and Wario may only care about money but that didn't stop him from walking out the door after Mario saved him from endlessly being trapped behind a painting forever...so maybe there could be a future game for the same kinda reason maybe Wario and Waluigi could be in debt to the Mario Bros and help save the princess somehow someway

@RubenZCrazy89 Well, it was Luigi who save Wario from a Paint which came from a game which was a "Remake". "Super Mario 64 DS" was a remake to include extras, not a continuing adventure. It may be different, but it's just a remake. Plus, events of that game was that Wario visit the Castle, perhaps Coins from the Princess. Don't remember, but it was just a remake.

I agree. Since the old gameboy games were Mario, Luigi, and Wario together. (YES in the gallary games there was all three together and wario was good) It should be Mario, Luigi, Wario, and have Waluigi since he's Wario's partner.
