MIDI can't even compare to the Amiga MOD format. Clean your ears or find another MODs and understand why it's better.

.MODs are files that contain notation/volume data etc aswell as raw pcm samples all in one file

.MIDI only contains notation/volume data etc..

MODs files can contain MIDI too (also raw, pcm, etc)?
