@xhunniamy Thanks a lot, glad you liked. Im a little suprised that you 'cant wait' to get back here. Normally I 'cant wait' to get out of here and go on holiday.
@xhunniamy same boat here... I couldnt wait to get away from Dubai and continue my studies in architecture elsewhere..and now..I miss it so much, I cant wait to to come back and see my folks and friends...I guess you only start to appreciate the things you've had until your placed in a totally different scenario
Hey man that was really great. I'm moving to Dubai in a couple months and I really felt like I was there when I was watching your video. Again, great job!
your masterpiece can be explained in three letters : WOW
you did a great job seriously I didnt expect 5min film can deliver that much of images and thoughts like your film did , keep it up and upload more of your work.
Good camera. Unfortunately capturing a decadent society which depends on ill-treating its work force of Asian origins, and relies heavily on domestic servants who are treated no better than slaves. The sadness which other people detected is due to genuine suffering of people who are mostly not the original people of Dubai. If you like shopping and buying leisure time, perfumes, cloths, etc, then Dubai is for you. If you're after other cultural enrichment, better look somewhere else.
watching this video, great music lovely scenes and great angles. one thing i get a feeling of when watching this is that dubai is a lonely place. historically nomadic i think but there seems a sadness in many of the peoples eyes.
Cool video! Well put together! I was thinking about getting the Tokina 11-16mm to shoot video because it has the 2.8 constant aperture. You used color correction so it's for me to tell what the true video quality will be like. Would you recommend this lens for video work? I'm also looking at the Canon 10-22mm.
@kilika89 I didn't really use colour correction that much, just increased the saturation a little in some parts. I think the tokina is a really great lens, and i think it is pretty good value for money. Whatever lens you get for video i think it needs to be a 2.8.
I used a Tokina ATX 11-16mm and a Tokina ATX 50-135mm.
I had crappy little stills tripod to stabilize some shots, and i also noticed when i did some hand held at 50 fps and then slowed it down in post, it stabilized the shot as well. but other than that it was mostly shot just hand held with me trying to be as steady as i can
Great video...fotagge,quality of the video, sound and editing r all awesome!!
