Were they suppose to stay together forever even though they obviously weren't meant to be (that's why there are so many failed marriages). I can't stand love movies, but for some reason I can't explain this movie is one of my favourite movies. The characters are simply brilliant and quite realistic, it's not one of those crappy movies with a happy ending it's a fresh story with characters you can easily relate to.

Man, I really connected with this film and the characters in it. I too anticipated on sappy romantic comedy but was taken by surprise on it's intent to portray a more realistic modern relationship. This scene especially plays over in my mind on some of events in my life. It is refreshing to have seen this film and has quickly become one of my favorites. Both the love conflicted characters are amazingly talented and will continue with their bright future.

Rewatched this movie last night before watching your review and fell in love with it all over again. Its a nod to Annie Hall and Eternal Sunshine most definitely. But what it is is honest about love and life. Many say Zooey is a bitch here, but she really was lost and JPL taught her to love... someone else in the end. But she still loved him for it. So many great little moments in this movie. IKEA, alternate reality, the wedding... so many good and bad moments we all can relate too!
