Global warming is a new religion that Al Gore and David Suzuki are trying to impose upon the world. Al: "Look! Here is a problem and only Me and Dave can help save you! Fork over your earnings to us (in the form of carbon taxes and subsidies for green businesses) and your salvation and that of the rest of the world will be ensured!" Don't beleive their lies. Resist.
this was based on sketches done quickly at Edinburgh Zoo, and memory. No rotoscope. Not that there's anything wrong with rotoscope, but it's not how i did these!
That polar bear was looking pretty sad last time I saw him in person. You really captured the weight very well. I checked out your site and would urge any other animators and lovers of animation reading this to do the same. This guy is a pro.
A few years ago, two parents went out for dinner. A few hours later, the babysitter was calling to ask if she could cover up the clown statue in the kids' room, the father said,"Take the kids and get out of the house. We'll call the police, we don't have a clown statue." The "clown statue" is really a killer that escaped from jail. If you don't post this letter on to 10 videos tonight, the clown will be in your bed at 3:00 am with a chainsaw in his hand
well, I did do a similar study in flash, which is the frog you can see on my webpage. To be honest, flash only really saves time if you are retaining certain lines from one frame to the next, and these animations gain their fluidity from an original line on each frame. It's funny with animation, people always seem to devalue it if it has taken time to make! (actually, if memory serves me correctly, this only took a weekend. Fastest work I remember doing!)

how did u make this?
flyingfish32 4 years ago
Observation from life on many pieces of paper! Key frames were drawn at the Zoo, then the rest filled in from memory in the studio.
anim8iain 4 years ago
250 frames, at 1/12th of a second each.
anim8iain 4 years ago
how many frames in this?
