The United States is put under constant stressors by having their rights infringed on and almost nothing they can do about it.
It is being done on purpose to force the public to adapt to the forced change of it's constitutional rights.
Like a parent might force change in a child because the child thinks they have more rights than their parents have granted them.

My 2 cents. Depression is a condition where the individual lies to himself/herself to point of acceptance or, realizes the truth and and accepts the in-evitable.
