Well, these things are sometimes interesting.
On the other hands, I as Japanese simply grow up with sometimes feeling "Chinese are like westerns".
I don't know what to say but some air and tastes, while they have their "Chinese taste/Oriental".

If you look at all genetic studies, they all point to the same conclusions:
Chinese are most related to Austronesians/Southeast Asians/Australoids
Even in this video, a study by Japanese researchers, shows that Chinese have the highest frequencies of the afb1b3 marker, which also modal in Southeast Asians and Austronesians.
I have nothing against Southeast Asians or other Austronesians/Australoids but the Chinese should accept the mainstream genetic conclusions.

O2 is Southeast Asian? O2* arrived in East Asia before it split into O2a (Southeast Asian) and O2b (Northeast Asian). Similar to how N1 split into N1a (Southeast Asians) and N1b (Siberian Turkic people).
Chinese have some D as well, so are you saying that they're short blacks too? You need to look at autosomal genetic studies. Autosomal genes are related to phenotype. Haplogroups aren't.

O2b is not Southeast Asian. It can only be found among Koreans, Nanai, Ulchi, Xibe, Manchus and Japanese. O2b* originated in Manchuria/Northern Korean peninsula and O2b1 originated in Southern Korean peninsula and migrated to Japan. O2b has highest diversity values among Northeast Asians meaning it originated in Northeast Asia.

@abeeaveb2 Where in my comment did I say I was trying to prove Koreans are Altaic? Koreans have Altaic admixture and Altaic is a linguistic classification. There were no Mongolian, Tungusic and other North Asians in the study, so the Altaic definition was limited to Koreans and Japanese. Altaic cluster should be split into 2 clusters: one cluster being Korean/Mainland Japanese and the other being Okinawan. This would be evident if they used a higher value of K.

In the case of the Austronesian label, they did have samples that represent Austronesians: Indonesians, Malays and other SE Asians. The Austronesian cluster peaks among Indonesians and Malays, and is quite high among Han Chinese. It is a fact that Chinese have the most Austronesian DNA (15-40%) followed by Japanese (3-5%) then Korean (0-1%).
