i wish it was easier to take mortar people's dog tags, and i wish they can't use it in an area that is blocked off from the other team, that way its easy dogtags and they can't camp back and get their kd high, and they always loose their dogtags. the mortar is useful but people abuse it by sitting back in their spawn like a bunch of dicks

i like being in the middle of mortar fire, it adds to the game, make it more hectic and give bf3 its moments. all you guys take things too seriously... just enjoy the game and play it cause whenever someone gets killed, they ALWAYS either blame it on "lag", "cheating" or "spamming"!!! if you get killed, so what, spawn in again, think tactically on how to get the person back. because its not the end of the world if you die in a fricken VIDEO GAME!!!

Also mortars aren't as strong and it takes some skill to get a direct hit which is the only way you can kill. It's blast radius is cut off by a lot and targets such as other mortars, vehicles, open snipers and M-COMS are the only real threats to an avg user.

I personally think that the mortar is ok the way it is. It has a short blast distance, it can't get too far and it doesn't kill you with one hit so it's perfect for making the campers surrounding an MCOM station or that sniper who hasn't moved from the same spot through out the whole game run for cover and giving and opening for your squad/team. But it isn't used this way since some players only sit on their spawn spamming them until the end of the match, only getting 5 kills. Just saying :P
