This is not a peaceful protest. If it were peaceful then they would not be breaking the law by blocking the street. With every video that gets posted like this one, the NYPD might be biting off more then they can chew. Look how many more people came out to support OWS after they arrested the bridge protesters.

LA was a local community that started a war zone that couldn't be put down. Imagine if ALL of the occupiers revolted in every city they are in? Think about that NYPD the next time there is an "incident." Use your heads, OWS is there for the duration, like it or not. Keep it peaceful, please?

The NYPD should study and remember the LA riots in the 90's. The rioters were in control of the war zone, not the authorities. Only when the rioters had "made their point" did they allow the LAPD/National Guard in to restore order. That is fact.

OWS has been a peaceful protest thus far. All it takes is one unjust incident to galvanize them and the public to then "make their point." NYC could easily become a war zone that no one wants to see. Intimidation won't work NYPD, OWS is there to stay.
