@joonatan15 - I was having same problem: when you are in Pages and on your actual page - right click and make sure that Allow Document Pages to Shuffle and Allow Selected Spreads to Shuffle are unchecked. This will keep your page in the same location you want it in
@Hammersmith80 - same thing with me - solution: select the pages leading up to your renumbering and right click to go to Numbering/Section Option and name it a prefix (ie: intro)
Hi, thank you for your video. I was able to start page 1 in the middle of the document, but now it cut the document up so that pg 1 is on the right. How do I get the 1st page in the middle of the book to be on the left side? Thanks in advance if you can answer this question.
This method doesn't work with Cs5.5, once you have set-up your masters pages and inserted 'current page number' the pages are numbered however when you right click on say page 5 and follow the steps in the video it doesn't not work, instead the following error appears; "Page numbering already exists in another section" VERY annoying and there is seemingly no fix!
I am little bit confuse at 2:18 ..can you please help. And any changes in resolution when transferring image from Photoshop to Indesign or JPG to Indesign.
@johnbuhril I'm explaining how you can set your first page to any page you want within your document. In the example I wanted page 1 to actually start on page 5 of my document. I know it's confusing saying 1 but actually starting it on page 5. There shouldn't be any resolution changes when taking a saved image from Photoshop and placing it into Indesign as a JPEG unless you manually change the size.
