Well Done!! Good Shooting. Keep up the good work. I just met a couple of farmers with a smaller problem than what you encountered. My hunting partner and i rid the two places of over 250 squirrels over a couple of weeks hunting. Longest shot with the .22lr with rem yellow jackets was 125 yards with lots at 60 plus with the 22's. The longest with the 17hmr Marlin XT-17 was 135 (i just bought it the week before the squirrels went into hiding. shawn from Oregon

Saw this link researching a Tasco product I found on Craigslist....I remember when I lived in the plains states these menaces would leave huge holes which livestock would step in and break their legs. Its either kill these things or lose thousands of dollars in livestock.

@Stiffdrummer07 You could try a high power airgun. I have a Remington Airmaster 77 (basically a rebranded Crosman) and it takes them down pretty well. Not as loud as a .17, but not silent. I've heard you can put a 2 liter soda bottle over the end and it muffles it pretty well.

@lilwalkinglegs the .17hmr is a little faster and flatter shooting but the wind blows around the bullet a lil more than the .22wmr i shoot the hornady 17gr. v-max out my .17 and i shoot the 30gr v-max out of my .22mag my .17 is shoot 2550 at the muzzle and my .22mag is shooting 2200 i take out my .22mag on windy days
