These are low revs and you're watching it on a computer people. I have a great sound card and 5.1 500watt speaker set (gamer) and realize that this won't be great audio. And he's revving at low RPM's. Regardless, it has a great sound to me. At low RPM's the 2007 R1 doesn't have too much of a sound. I own it so I know (still stock pipes). This sounds close to the GYTR pipes (which I like) but again, it's on a computer loaded with simple audio. I won't complain as if this is THX quality. DUH.

Sounds great. MotoGP crank technology and it sounds like it. Once fitted properly this should make for an exciting race bike on the track.

Sounds Awesome! I have a 2005 R1 a 2006 GSXR1000 a 2006 Busa and a 2008 Z1000 and this new R1 is sweet. LOVE the sound. Knowing that this sound produces the most linear torque curve and closest thing to an M1 is sweet. I want one.

If you want screaming the R6 or equiv. bike is still there, this is some MotoGP/holy crap/hold the ef on power and sound. Its just a diff type of bike is all, not tryin to be a d*ck.

I hear ya, I hope that all the major companies will go a seperate but equally exciting direction. This is a good start, in my opinion though they have butchered the R1's looks and gave it a great power plant. Japanese styling (in my opinion again) peaked around 2005. Granted I am biased and I have a 2005 :) I do love this new engine, but not enough to overcome the atrocious styling and seemingly added weight. I wont be buying any new japanese bikes. Italian yes but not the Japanese. Later!
