Auto-tunes problems

When I open protools 8 it say

Could not complete your reqest

Because access violation occurred

Unable to read location 0x0B,495

A4F at address 0x74,0c5,74D in

Module MSVCR80.dll.

And it stop on loading plug-ins

Autotune is made by a company called Antares. I bought Autotune as a separate plug-in and installed it.

ProTools only works with its own devices, although you can use it with other software (like cubase and others).

no, it means you have to buy the software, but if you buy the m-box, you get the software with it, otherwise you just have software with no hardware, the m-box lets you plug in mics/guitars/keyboards/line in into your computer, otherwise you JUST HAVE SOFTWARE WITH NOTHING TO DO

Pro Tools will ONLY run with a qualified interface plugged in. The software will install without an interface, but it won't open.

u need to install autotune into the samefolder as Protools. if u already installed it in another folder, just drag n drop it.

Then it''ll show up in pitch shift.

You'll have to buy it.

I think a lot of Pro Tools packs come with a light version of Melodyne. That will also do this effect (although a few differences in the steps to get you there)
