  • So nice!

    Thank you for post!

  • @MotownMagic...Thanks for posting this CC track. Can't say I knew her because I grew up overseas and got limited music from the states, but managed to get the headliners like, Temps, Tops, Smokey, Marvelletes, Martha, Marvin, Mary Wells, etc. As a matter of fact, her voice and singing style reminds me much of Mary who is my all time favorite female vocalist. Thanks again for the sweet memories!

  • @texxbee Yes, most people heard the well-known ones that were great of course, but some artists were just as talented like Carolyn, and Mary Wells, and Kim Weston, all of whom I really loved to hear. I saw a recent interview with Berry Gordy Jr that's rare in itself, and he said they didn't have the resources to promote them all, they were the biggest independent producer of 45 rpm singles in the world at that time too! amazing don't you think? JOHN

  • @MotownMagic1959 Don't take this song away pleeze!! Leave it here; people will listen to it!! I was begging youtube to bring this song back when I kept clicking on it and it was gone...this is a Motown classic, so please, keep it out here for us to enjoy...Thanks!!!

  • @shorty1ification Don't worry I've no intention of deleting my 264 Motown tracks yet :-) I want to increase them, remember it's UMG who own most of the copyrights to these old singles etc that Motown still own of course, so you could ask them where you can buy the compilations they do now, I'm glad to say. I wanted people who like them to be able to hear the rare ones etc transferred from the originals as I had them in the 60's and 70's when I was a DJ long ago. :-) JOHN

  • @MotownMagic1959 Thank you very much!! I love this song, and I would like to listen to it everyday if I can! I will check around in my city and see if I can find it somewhere; if I can't, it's nice to know that I can pull it up on youtube and hear it...thanks again!!

  • @MotownMagic1959 Hi! and thank You!! I am looking for a Motown Song and I don't know the title. The lyrics are; You don't know what it is to be lonely, to want someone, and to love them only, the pain inside makes you want to fall down and die, Sad feeling to be lonely.

It is sung by a guy in the 60's (don't know his name, think he was with Motown). please post if you have it. send me his name. Thank You!!!

  • @Twinkles5927 Hi you've got me a bit baffled as I can't think what this lyric is, but it sounds very much like a Jimmy Ruffin song, why not listen to my Jimmy Ruffin tracks in my collection or some of the other Motown artists? you never know it might pop up, in the 60's you didn't really listen to the lyrics a lot just the sounds, but I'm glad you liked the lovely Carolyn Crawford and her 1964 track that I always loved, have you heard her others I added too? Brilliant Motown in the 60's JOHN
