LOL dude a SR506 has a dynamic range of tones. I have one and It can out do some of the higher priced brands. You probably dont know how to EQ your instrument correctly.

This Ibanez has nearly the same tone and playability as a Warwick Thumb. Honestly. Nothing beats the Warwick growl, but this line of Ibanez bass comes close. The Prestige models come even closer. Ibanez gets a bad rap because most of the people who buy them get the lame cheapo models (myself included), or they're just bozos when it comes to the EQ and tone knobs.
