Awesome patterns around 2:45! Different poi makes different patterns easier. Try a string that is stiff or with very little elasticity and water balloons for the poi head.
yeah, I already made new poi heads for them. The ones I started with were not heavy enough. I also added balloons for handles. These are a bit stretchy but they should be better once I practice with them more.
Oh my. I absolutely LOVE IT. The poi community has been taken off lately(facebook group to blame?) And its amazing. I sure need to get some new videos posted. I've been working with throws a lot lately. Making them flow has been hard but its slowly coming. Where are you from?
2:20 to 2:40... nice! And I'm liking the inversions, I love watching you spin cause our styles are so similar haha. We shouldn't have spun so much together last year :P
Yeah. I think part of it is just the Santa Cruz style..
I think most of our similarity traces back to that one practice session that we had on the knoll where you taught me how to do that inspin Stall/ Antispin cap pattern. It took you like 5 minutes of explaining for me to finally get it. Then right after that I showed you a horizontal variation and I didnt even know it was the same concept.. LOL
flowing alllll over the 3rd dimension! I especially dig all the inspin 3d work.
