If you need meat then why is it scientifically proven that vegetarians live longer and healthier lives? Don't you realize that your argument is just a thinly-vailed excuse not to be compassionate. Meat only causes those things if you eat it at every meal of every day and be a couch potato if you work out and eat meat at diner 3 times a week you'll be fine.. and buddy if your a creationist then wouldn't god have made meat good for humans or if you believe in evolution wouldn't the body over hundred of thousands of year adapt and learn how to use meat? and you NEED meat in your diet because of the protein it gives your body which uses it to repair muscle and tissue damage.

Net, does it really matter that some people choose to refrain from eating meat? If they feel that is there highest right does it hurt you in some way? Does it hurt you enough that you would attack and intentionally try to hurt someone who is expressing an opinion? If it did you must not be a very thick skinned. I eat meat, but I don't feel the necessity to try to hurt someone with the fact that I do.

BTW I would hope you would equate yourself with an animal since the human being IS an animal.
