Why isn't it built to use e85? Of course, the answer is that it would produce more power using e85. Start producing "flex-fuel" vehicles that are actually designed to utilize ethanol. We're sick and tired of being screwed by the oil companies.
Ethanol is nothing more than another excuse to subsidize king corn. The way ethanol is produced in the united states it uses more energy than simply doing it the old fashioned way by mining in canada or drilling in the Ghawar field. Hydrogen and battery look to be the most promising as they are proven to use less energy, albeit are more expensive. The solution lies in marginalizing these alternative sources through steep pigouvian taxes on carbon and dirty energy.
Agreed on marginalizing alternatives to oil and corn being a poor choice for producing ethanol. Viable ethanol is only another thing that his being purposefully avoided. There's a 75 cent tariff on imported ethanol from Brazil. It's just another lie from the powers that be. 105 octane is mighty fun to play with though. Missing the benefits of that octane is something the automakers try too hard to avoid.
SS already makes a loud pop sound when you shift with no lift, all the no lift does is regualte rpm with a computer so the boost does not fall off giving you an advantage over others
not sure how fast he was going but I had a 2005 SS and the fastest i got it up to was 158 mph.. but that was stock SS/SC this one i imagine would be faster
i have a few friends that have stock srt-4s and im thinking that this might have the advantage. lol ive pre-ordered already. hopefully its what i hope it is lol

I preordered mine too, car def has advantage over srt-4, ss can hold at 4100 rpm before you shift into first with competition mode selected.
