  • Which sin causes you to lose salvation? Just the big ones? Just the ones YOU dont commit? You are a sinner like all of us! If you can lose it, you can lose it for ANY sin. You are lost by your own doctrine. You cannot get saved twice! Just ask Moses about striking the Rock twice, and then read Hebrews.

  • Did you watch the video? 1But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord THAT BOUGHT THEM, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.4For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell...21For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness.... 2 peter 2. This is clearly talking about someone who was saved but turned

  • @JohnDowneyWilson The video proves nothing. The man they are talking about in the video apparently is guilty of the same thing as the man in I Corinthians 5 who has been turned over to the devil for DESTRUCTION (like the verse you quoted) but the man has not lost his salvation even though he is not repentant. You need to get your salvation doctrine from the Church Epistles. There is only one believer in 2Peter2. LOT! Bought does not mean saved. LOT should prove my point, but...Have it your way.

  • @mastersman1 Uh no---the man in 1 CO 5:5 was guilty of sleeping with his step mother. Also, are you suggesting that the "destruction of the flesh" meant the mans death? It doesnt, its the equivelant of "crucifying the flesh", doing away with his carnality. and as I suggested in the other thread to someone: 1CO 5:5 is actually a verse against OSAS "turn him over to satan (cease fellowship)...so that his spirit MAY be saved" it suggests if they dont his spirit will not be saved.

  • @JohnDowneyWilson They are to cease fellowship, or practive church discipline in hopes that them man may repent. Its ridiculous to say "turn him over to Satan so that HE WILL DIE and his spirit will be saved" What are saying exactly? Do you see how blinded you are by your traditions?

  • Many shall say unto Jesus Lord Lord but He says He does not know THOSE WHO WORK INIQUITY. They dont want to hear the truth because they love to live their inquity : (

  • Many shall say unto Jesus Lord Lord but He says He does not know THOSE WHO WORK INIQUITY.

  • Wow! Yet another YouTube heretic. What a surprise.

  • We can be cut off if we do not abide in faith. Rom 11:20-22

“Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou Standest By FAITH. Be not high minded, but fear:

For if God spared not the natural branches, TAKE HEED LEAST HE Also SPARE NOT THEE.

Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, IF Thou CONTINUE IN His goodness: Otherwise thou ALSO Shalt Be CUT OFF.

Continue to trust in Christ and Abba...

  • For Satan to have lost his salvation, he must first have been saved and to have been saved he first must have been lost. That's ludicrous! Satan and his angels are bad examples for the heretic teaching that you can lose your salvation.

  • Anyone who believes a saint can lose his salvation believes he/she is greater than the Father. That's pure arrogance and blasphemy!

And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all (including you); and no man (including you) is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. (Joh 10:28-29)

  • Have you ever said to yourself "I can lose my salvation" or have you always said "YOU can lose your salvation?" It's always the other guys and never yourself. That's Pharisaic. Have you ever regretted you salvation? If you had you're NOT saved.

For having sorrow in a godly way results in repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regrets. But the sorrow of the world produces death. (2 Co 7:10).

If there's nothing you could do for your salvation, what's there you can do to keep is?

  • Shame, shame on you. If your going to teach this at least start from the beginning of the chapter rather than take what you want out of context. Paul is not talking about Christians who fell from grace hes talking about people coming to them who never were Christians but instead servants of Satan, leading these Christians astray.

Since we take anything out of context how do you resolve Christ saying children are the kingdom of heaven. Using your methods he just said no adults go to heaven.

  • seems clear to me. and not everyone that goes "Lord, Lord...I did this and that..." God goes "get away I never knew you", there are a lot of deluded people around here....

  • @XDragasesX As clear as it may seem to you you're missing the point of the do-gooders in Matthew 7. Jesus never knew them cause they came to Jesus based on their way not God's way. Claiming admittance to Heaven based on what they did for Jesus and not what Jesus did for them. In short, they got it back-assward and were ushered out. If one has believed that Christ died for their sins, was buried and rose the third day, they're saved. Period. Jesus is not going to forget any the Father gave Him.

  • what a joke

  • Circumcision. Do you not know the Bible at all except to preach salvation by works? What does Circumcision represent?

STUDY to show thyself . . . my, my ,my folks do have a time of it---just can't handle 5th grade English I guess. Simple-minded simpleton. Learn sound doctrine or sit down and shutup!

  • Must be a drag to live your whole Christian life not being absolutely positive that you have everlasting life. "And I give unto them eternal life, and THEY SHALL NEVER PERISH, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand." (John 10:28) What part of "and THEY SHALL NEVER PERISH" don't you understand? Either God is a liar or you are deceived. Take your pick...

  • There are two camps on Eternal Security. Perseverance of Saints (kept by the holy spirit ...sealed who grow in Christ )...then...there are OSAS "Cheap Grace" believers who think they can make a profession of faith and live how they want. You need to do a study on John chapter 6. Of all that the Father gives to Christ, He will lose NONE.

  • The False prophet is you, if Jesus said you have eternal life and then you lose it, Jesus would be a liar. He said those who are saved will never thirst, question what did that rich man want, a drop of water. When you are saved you are sealed and preserved, you are not rightly dividing the word of truth, you have the wrong dispensation. In the end Jesus will say to those who go to Hell sorry never knew you, how could he say that to someone who was saved.

  • Fall doesn't mean lose salvation. We can fall! Who said that OSAS teaches that we can't fall? A just man falleth seven times. This is a dumb video that proves nothing!

  • WHO IS HE THAT OVERCOMETH BUT HE THAT BELIEVETH THAT JESUS IS THE SON OF GOD.HEY JUGHEAD.....THE CHILD OF GOD HAS ALREADY OVERCOME.

  • "And I give unto them eternal life, and THEY SHALL NEVER PERISH, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand." (John 10:28) Does God lie???

  • What does circumcision represent?

  • Dear Preacher Norm,

Thank you for your desire to preach the word, but I respectfully disagree. What we can conclude about Salvation is that it is not dependent upon us, for if it was then grace is not grace but simply a wage (Rom 4). The question comes to mind is this: do these "false teachers" and "false apostles" and those who follow them truly have/had a love for God that keeps them in the Truth of the Lord?

  • you

  • Christianity is based on the 3000 year old plagiarized scribblings of a handful of schizophrenic, desert wandering goat herders, prone to psychotic episodes involving voices and hallucinations, sometimes telling them to terrorize and murder their own children, who desperately needed to believe that their god, or their particular interpretation of their god, was better than everyone else's.

  • Comment removed

  • PreacherNorm- Just keep preaching the truth from the Word of God. All of you people who don't agree with the Bible can go ahead and live your own ways and beliefs thus God gives us free will (even for the Born Again.)There is no other way about- It's from the Word of GOD. Please study and not rely on man or anybody, but Jesus-which means live from His teachings.

  • You fool ..you have comndemend yourself by your very own words

  • Just because they are in the church DONT MEAN they were once saved and the fact they went after false doctrine and denied the truth they once received ..Not everyone that goes to church is saved because they go to church ..there are many people who go to church who are and never been saved..there are preacher that are not saved.. WHY?

    Ill tell you why

  • Are you a preacher if so for what church or are you catholic because the catholic church agrees with your views in this video.

  • Falling from grace is judged within the family of God.Judgment comes first with the house of God.1 Peter 4:17The believer should understand that as a child of God, we are held accountable for how we walk. Satan seeks to destroy the believer, take away what is given us because of faithfulness to the Lord. The one thing he can't take away from the believer is the life [freely given] us in Christ to go to heaven. Apply your verses to the walk of the believer and what could be lost at our judgment.

  • Good point if angels who were once in heaven can fall away, and the world was destroyed by flood saving only Noah and his family, I don't understand y ppl think we can't fall. Does not Jude the Lord Saved the ppl out of Egypt & latr destroyed them 4 unbelief. They had fallen away. Jude cont w/angels, Sodom & Gom & their cities, etc. if all these can fall away Y then is it so hard to believe that we of 2days world r so dif. We are undr the NT, but OT is 4 our learning, so Learn PPl U 2 can fall.

  • We live in the dispensation of grace, you are talking about people that lived under the law, read your Bible

  • What is this man preaching that is so wrong, I must be the only one hearing the bible being read. I don't believe this man wrote any of the things he is reading. If there is an argument ovr what he is reading, I think all of the negativity need to be taken to the author of the book he is reading. I don't hear anything being added to what he is reading. If u don't agree take it 2 the Higher Power, the 1 who wrote the words being quoted.

  • I have nevr heard so many negative comments for someone who is only reading what is written in the Bible. What is this man saying that is so wrong, all I hear is biblical reading.

  • People who believe once saved always saved have allowed themselves to be fooled. If I fall out of a boat and someone saves me, is it not possible for me to fall out of the boat again and drowned?

  • When are we going to debate?

  • Who is satisfied by Christ Atonement? The answer is God.How many times is God satisfied by Christ.? What this preacher is saying is Christ satisfaction can possibly be undone by Satan, that is his theology.Because all his efforts upon man satisfying and keeping and not completely God saving and keeping to the end Satan cannot undue what Christ did to satisfy God.

  • this "preacher" is a preacher of satan

  • @kentx333 Thanks for not judging.

  • @PreacherNorm osas has nothing to do with calvinism, calvinism doesnt teach osas it teaches perseverance of the saints which is far different and it is works salvation too

  • @PreacherNorm Lol

  • Additionally, 2 Tim 1:9 says from all eternity the difference between the saved and the lost was set and God is the one who gave it. It is not based on our works, but on Gods purpose and grace.

Acts 13:48 as many as had been APPOINTED to eternal life believed.

2 Thes 2:13 God from the beginning chose you for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth

Rom 11:7 the elect have obtained it, and the rest were blinded.

Jn 15:16 You did not choose Me, but I chose you

  • Moreover, Jesus spoke of false apostles, etc and He says on the day of judgment "I NEVER KNEW YOU: depart from me, ye that work iniquity." Jesus doesn't say "I knew you and then you left me," no, He says "I NEVER KNEW YOU." Matthew 7:23

  • Sometimes we see people who look like they endorse the gospel. They follow Jesus then they fall away. The threat is there, so Hebrews 6 warns us that you better not fall away because if you do there will be no renewing to salvation. But if somebody professes Christ and then falls always they were never TRULY saved in the first place. We have to say that because the Bible says that. If they are truly saved then no one can pluck them from the Fathers hands (John 10:29).

  • Yes dumbass, you are preaching about yourself

  • Great Job. Praise the Lord.

  • Just because one presumes to be saved doesn't mean they actually are saved. Only God knows who the elect are. We are always to examine ourselves to see if we are truly in the faith. We know through scripture that the tares sit alongside the wheat in the churches, but God knows who His sheep really are and He will discard the goats on judgment day.

Calvinism is about the Holiness of God and the sinfulness of man apart from Jesus anyway. It is not about once saved always saved.

  • @themalina92

If someone does what they are suppose to do, according to the bible, to be saved and believe that they are indeed saved, you are saying that they may not really be saved after all? If that is the case, you are basically saying that no one can know for sure that they are saved.

  • You keep saying that a man of God can fall. The Scriptures you use to prove your exegesis are incorrect. The Scriptures you are using deals with false apostles and preacher's. Nothing is being said about the man of God. By the way! Jesus would contradict you about the believer's security. He said He will raise up at the last day those whom the father has given Him (Jn 6:39040). Now if what you say is true Jsus is the biggest lier around.

  • The question that is presented is about the false apostles. Context is not referring to bliever's. It would be better to just leave what is said in it's context then to add something that is not being said.

  • This has nothing to do with Eternal Security of the believer. By the way. you keep saying what will call the man of God to fall? He is not talking about the man of God. A false apostle is just that someone who is a counterfeit. obviously you error about the true men of God who have been saved and called according to His perpose. Jesus would contradict you. John 6:39-40 tell us they (elect) will be secure and be raised up at the last day.

  • You better go back to the Bible and study it some more before you posts videos that are heresy. How can you have the audacity to say that the ones who God has saved can lose their salvation? Our names are written in the Lamb's Book of Life from before the Foundation of the world. Jesus himself said that no man can take away his sheep, and in no way can he lose any that the Father has given to him. Salvation for all of the elect of God was completed at the cross. Completed! Finished! Done!

  • I would be happy to debate you on this subject to see who is accurately representing biblical truth. I'll start a new discussion chain on my web site bibleqna . com. Just let me know if you're willing and I'll get it started.

  • @PreacherNorm Hey Norm,God has ordained your ministry to reprobate yourself and others, but you haven't been called by God to preach to His people.Cease and desist immediately, repent.and believe in the REAL JESUS.

  • @PreacherNorm

Norm You Are Willing To Debate All These Denominations On There Error, And Yes They Are In Error, But So Are You On The Covenants. Would You Be Willing To Debate Love6653 On Where The New Testament Begins?? You Have Been Challenged B4 These Witnesses.Lets See If Norm Can Handle Rightly Dividing The Word Of Truth. Mathew-John Describing Jesus B4 The Cross Is NOT NEW TESTAMENT. Take The Challenge NORM I DARE YOU, Go FOR IT.I Await The Norm Challenge.

  • NewDirection4us - Who started the notion of "once faith always saved"?

The original Christian churches, e.g. Catholic and Orthodox believe that salvation is a progressive process and you can loose salvation.

Did Martin Luther teach "once saved always saved"? Or is it some man made dogma developed by individualistic American churches?

  • @NewDirection4us Did you know Jesus has the power to blot out names from the Book of Life? Read Revelation 3:5.

  • @harmono The names in the Book of Life are the same people that God has chosen to be the elect, those saved by Christ at the cross. God is not editing the names, taking away some and adding others, as we go through time. it was accomplished long ago, in eternity, and you do not understand the gospel if you think men's works are causing Christ to have to cross out names while he adds new ones at any given time.

  • @NewDirection4us Revelation 3:5 KJV He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.

Jesus said those that overcome will not have thier names blotted from the book of life. That is a condition he put on having your name NOT blotted from the book of life. So if you don't want your name blotted, it would be very wise to fing out what overcome means.

  • @NewDirection4us EXACTLY!

  • @NewDirection4us calvinism is a trap of satan dude, get outta there inmediatly befores it is too late, if we are in sin, practicing evil deeds(whatever they might be) we belong to the devil and it doesnt matter if we have been atending church or witnessing to people, or healing the sick or casting demons out or even praying in Jesus's name, as well as our names has been writeen in the Lamb's Book of Life it can be deleted from it if we turn our backs on God on purpose. Be sure of that.

  • @NewDirection4us Borring

  • Calvinism teaches Perseverance of the Saints, which is true and Biblical. If one is truly one of the beloved of Jesus Christ s/he will persevere (be kept by God).

God knows who the elect are.

"Once saved always saved" is just something that has evolved to suit an ever more apostate church in America, and I don't see what it has to do with Calvinism at all.

  • I agree with you my friend God knows who are the elect.

  • And of course, you have to consider the baptist doctrine of you can't lose your salvation which is contrary to the Word of God.

  • Some denominational preachers based on their form of denominational doctrine. But this is more or less, talking about cult leaders who use christian type to doctrine. People like Jim Jones and other people in such way.

  • The bible is interpreted differently by different people! This is simply your interpretation of what "you think" is the right way! I may see things differently-God/Jesus looks at the heart! I'm glad the he not people is the judge!

  • gospel???....did god come searching for us vs did man come searching for god.??...if god came searching for man was true, how can man fall from gods hands???...

  • Maybe it's both? God created man so God must have desired a relationship first. However, men/women do seek after "something" to fill an emptiness or a reassurance that there's a life after death(eternal). That something for many is in the form of a God.

  • My bad, thats Gal3:3

  • Galatians 3:1

3Are you so foolish? Having begun by the Spirit, are you now being perfected by the flesh?

  • many are unbelivers in the true gospel of god and jesus teachings and words, only a few will found life , thats ways holy bible said, obey- or your in vain ....

  • i do not go to church anymore i believeth holiness living ... any people and churches nowadays and before are deceved and deceiver others .... they are a (few) people that holiness live... i may someday find a church (few) holiness truth believes amen....

  • This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.

    Galatians 5:16-17

  • The Unconditional Salvation Gospel or Once Saved Always Saved teaches that anyone can only Blasphemy the Holy Spirit only if they have never been Saved.

The Conditional Salvation Gospel says anyone can Blasphemy the Holy Spirit even after they have been Saved.

  • When we are talking about Eternal sin this is the most serious message and topic.

When dealing with the Responsibility of Repentence from Self and Sin or the Great White Throne Judgment and Eternal Damnation in Hell we are talking about the Most Serious Problem.

  • False video.

  • This is not meant to put anyone down; just to help people understand. "Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us," ("when Moses had made an end of writing the words" "this book of the law" was "a witness against thee." Deu. 31:24-26; not the 10 commandments "written with the finger of God") Please read the following scriptures, all found in the New Testament, under the new covenant: 1 Cor. 7:19 1 John 2:3,4 1 John 3:22 1 John 5:2,3 2 John 1:6 Rev. 12:17 Rev. 14:12)
  • Does anyone honestly believe that if a Christian is in bed with a whore committing adultery and a stray bullet from a drive-by shooter strikes him in the head and kills him instantly, that he will not die and go to hell?

"Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers,.. shall inherit the kingdom of God." 1 Cor. 6:9,10

"no whoremonger,.. hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God." Eph. 5:5

    Copy & paste

    WhatLawWasNailedToTheCross

    in the Google search engine

  • That person is not a Christian...

  • True! Preserverance of the Saints has been perverted by man but that doesn't make what God says false. Phil 1:6 says, "For I am CONFIDENT of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus." Salvation is of the Lord. In Jude these people who have "crept in unnoticed" were long before marked for condemnation, so these people were never saved. Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, be glory forever and ever. AMEN

  • no oct31st1517 he diddnt the bible is not a buffet you CAN NOT take what you like and leave the rest eitheir you take the WHOLE bible or deny ALL of the bible the bible DOES NOT and CAN NOT contradict itsself

  • Great point, Tygress. Usually what happens in these kinds of arguments is people throw proof texts back and forth at each other, with each side ignoring the proof texts from the other side. We are like the blind men arguing about the elephant.

Friends, we all know there are some tough passages in that Book! It is human nature to ignore parts we do not know how to fit together. It is human nature to try to build and defend a doctrine based on the passages we feel we understand.

  • Romans 8:1

Once youre saved... God keeps you saved. He regenerates you into a new creature who is unable to got back and live in the condemnation of the old life again.

Check Ezek 36:24-28 to see regeneration. It is awesome!

  • You are right, except for the Ezekiel reference, which speaks of the NATIONAL salvation of Israel. That passage only affects the NT gentile believer insomuch as he has been "baptized into Christ" and thereby "grafted in" to some of the eternal promises given to physical Israel.

One of the reasons the "new creature" is unable to be damned is that he is unable to sin (1 John 3:9). He is born of INCORRUPTIBLE seed (1 Peter 1:23), so he therefore has an incorruptible inheritance (1 Peter 1:4,5).

  • he that endureth to end shall be saved , holiness , the 1peter 1:23, and 1 peter 1:4, 5 doesnt mean jesus and god has handcuuf on you and you cant sin, means stop sinning and sin no more , jesus and god- holy ghost could tell me not to drink a beer , in it my choice to live holiness or to sin,,, we can line holiness and without sin, so no more stop sinning, you make the choice whom you obey and do .

  • As long as you stay abiding in Christ, he will abide in you, but if you stop abiding in Him, you will be cut off and thrown into the fire.

  • If I am a (((new creature in Christ))) and the old things are passed away (2 Cor 5:17), how can I return to the old if the old is passed away?

The new creature is born again of the will of God and has been reconciled to God and will be raised to life on the last day.

God does not irresponibly give eternal life to people whom He knows will not endure. He keeps them saved bro....

  • you dont have etnternal life unless you endureth to the end ....shall be saved, jesus and god give you repent m holy ghost ab you must live the holiness live everday to ebdre to be saved... dont be ingorant and twiss scriptues around, im called, chosen by jesus and god...

  • Eternal Life is knowing Jesus Christ. It doesnt begin in heaven it begins at conversion.

    John 17:3

This is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.

  • John 5:24

Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me, (((has))) eternal life, and (((does not come into judgment))), but has (((passed out of death into life.)))

  • Those who believe in Me will obey my commandments. These are the words of Our Lord. Works are a fruit of faith, this is why faith without works are dead. In another words if we have no works in ourselves then our faith is very weak and even dead.

  • no that wrong , jesus and god does not put chains on you or someone and make you folow them you chose who you obey , yeshua and johovah or satin the devil and his demons and lies... you must endureth till end to be saved, holiness lives, amen

  • If you - Norm - ever lose your salvation, how do you get it back? Would you have to get baptized again, or make a confession to a preacher - like a church of Christ confessional borrowed from Catholicism

  • Norm can answer for himself of course, but I want to point out that if you found a "confessional" from a church saying they're of Christ, either 1. they never were of Christ to begin with (a denomination wearing a scriptural designator, like the "Church of God" Pentecostals), or they *were* of Christ and are surely apostate (fallen, salvation lost). I'm in God's church, and I might tell brethren things for advice and prayers, but I do NOT confess to a preacher for my restoration. Great question!

  • you must endureth till the end to be saved, , you must repent if you sin , and stop sinning, and live holiness , keep and obey truth amen. just in the hight priest , not the pope or the piriest in catholics....

  • Phil 1:6

For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.

Salvation is a work of the Lord, and He will complete it in those He begins it in.

  • I'm not trying to argue a particular side here, but you took 2 Corinthians 11:13 out of context. This verse is talking about people who preach another Jesus, spirit, and gospel.(scroll up a little bit to verse 4) Thus, they are false prophets who were not apostles to begin with. I don't see how you could use this verse to argue against OSAS. Your Galatians 5:4 works much better.

  • "And after all, our hands have wrought, he forgives, oh the glory of it all is he came here, for the rescue of us all that we may live, for the glory of it all oh the glory of it all! All is lost, find him there, find him there, after night God is here, God is here. and after all falls apart, he repairs, he repairs (chorus) And after night, comes alight, dawn is here, dawn is here.. it's a new day... a new day! oh everything will change, things will never be the same, we will never be the same.

  • We did fall, bur jesus came too raise us up from the fall and give us a sicund chance!!!

  • These comment boxes don't allow the space for the many, many more verses that could go here. But if you didn't hear them in the video then you won't hear them here either.

  • I took your advice and went back to study the Scriptures and this is what I found: 1) "You have fallen from grace" (Gal. 5:4). How can you fall from somewhere you've never been? 2) Ezek. 18:26 says that when a righteous man turns from his righteousness then he will die in his trespasses. His righteousness would not be remembered.

  • You refuted scripture with scripture. Please explain 1 Pet 1:3-5)

  • I think you need to get back into the scriptures and study the divine word. The bible teaches once saved KEPT saved. (1 Pet 1:3-5)

  • jesus said , sin no more and live holiness and he that endureth till the end shall be saved not before, 1 peter 1:3-5 ) means you be saved, ressurection , at the end not before . .
