@commode7x You're thinking of the C-CLAYS arrange of Lullaby, which uses the same pic. The 88th in Kakashi's collection if I recall correctly.

This particular arrange by DMC was nowhere to be found on Youtube following the taking down of ChaosAngel's old account, and I for one am glad that this song is back from the dead.

And then the ending. How it all goes away, but then comes back, if not only briefly, though missing the foreground 'cheer'. It sounds empty though, even coming back just as sudden as it left, as though the fight continues on even with the one fighter no longer there.

Oh gods. I recently downloaded the bulk of the metal and Classic playlists, and I discovered this beauty in the pile mere days ago, and replayed it for sever hours on end.

The simplicity of the song, being composed of only 2 instruments at a time, but the background sounding both clear, rhythmical, and even battle-like; While the foreground is both clear and distant, almost lonely. Gives me the impression of a lone warrior fighting a grand fight.

One exert, one game, of a series of Touhou games. I know you didn't ask for my help but I hope this helps. They're all good games. :3
