Point is, namco switched blinky to orange and clyde to red. I think it was a good move, clyde has a more villanous feel to it :P

@mateo11593 Actually i did some research and Blinky is red and the leader, Clyde is the underling. they swapped jobs in the cartoon (for some reason) . a lot of people watched the cartoon, and NAMCO switched their names in this game (not the colors) so they wouldn't be confused as to who is the leader. Personally I think it just made things more confusing

@CryolophoFan2010 For some reason a couple of Pac-Man games (Pac-Man Arrangement is another) reversed Clyde and Blinky's names. Normally, the aggressive red ghost is Blinky and the dopey orange ghost is Clyde. (Maybe they thought "Clyde" was a more villainous name?)

I agree with you in that I'll always think of this guy as Blinky.

I like to jump over the side and hang onto the outside of the platform while Clyde shoots his wad. No dodging necessary, and most of the fires extinguish by the time he lowers down to reload. Then you can rev-roll across to the platform he's next to and jump on his head.

Whenever I try to rev roll to the platform with the life on it, I always ram into the platform and bounce into the lava, as if the ramp isn't big enough >.<

Oh, and the sound effects are different for the PS2 version :p

@HolyAarom Actually, that was a name switch, I believe. So what you are seeing in this fight is Blinky (Clyde here.) in the orignal Pac-Man, while the ghost you fought back in world 1 was Clyde (Blinky in this game.) in the orignal as well.

I'm now 100% certain (Ok, maybe 85%) that it was a name swap, if you think about it. Blinky isn't really a good name for a evil leader. And it is the ONLY name that is differnet from the group. So Namco must've thought that was a better name.

Toc-Man was not the easiest Boss in Pacman World 1 also. I'm guessing this is by design. Anubis Rex (!) and King Galaxian were waaaayy harder. I thought even Krome Keeper was harder to beat than TocMan.
