@konneh I wonder what Angeal was thinking about when he came for Zack.... Was he proud of his protege? Or sad/guilty that Zack had been so cruelly betrayed, mistreated, and killed as a result of the project that spawned the SOLDIER Firsts, and now would never reach his full potential... When you think about it, Zack only really saved one of the four main people he was trying to save (those being Cloud, Angeal, Sephiroth, and Genesis) - would Angeal have considered him a hero? I sure hope so...

@meesisatonmai He did kind of save Genesis: Zack let him live at the end of their last fight. Genesis had his degradation removed and at the end of DoC was shown to be alive and well - and reformed. He'll probably appear in the inevitable sequel, much to my sorrow.

Eh, I didn't much care for how he looked/sounded in DoC... if there's a sequel, I hope it's good, but there hasn't been anything from the FFVII series in a long time, right? Makes me kinda doubt a sequel... :( But you don't like Genesis? He IS the main antagonist in CC, but if you try to see things from his side...

@meesisatonmai The creators have said that the Compilation officially ends on the 20th Anniversary, so I think a sequel is very much a possibility. I'd rather they just remade the original game with updated graphic, but it looks like they're remaking FFX first. And no, I'm not a big fan of Genesis, he was not a particular highlight for me when I played CC. At the end of the game he did say that his battle with Zack made him realize once again that the true gift is the pride of SOLDIER though.

Zack follows a code as I do, and because he followed that code he died it's describes a lot even about our country all the people that believe in honor have mostly died out or gone into hiding for nobody really follows that code anymore...it's kinda sad.

Too see a great character like Zack die is one of the sades moments in Final Fantasy History...Zack your are and always will be the the Soldier I will look up to and respect.

@klaridon Angeal has very different hair It's shorter, has heavier sideburns, a heavier widow's peak and his face structure is completely different with a wide, short forehead, wide nose, heavy cheakbones, small eyes and a furrow between his brow. These are all not traits Zack carries. On top of that, Angeal as a whole is wider and more muscular than Zack. When the person is shaking Cloud's head you can see the hair if you look carefully enough at the base where it'd be. It's just blurred

Final Fantasy is a game series. Most of the games have nothing to do with each other. Final Fantasy 7 and Final Fantasy 8, for example, are two completely different games and stories.

The story in FF7 is Basically there's a guy, Sephiroth who's going to destroy the world because he was turned into a monster by Shinra. Cloud and co. need to stop him and do.

Well, they explain all that happens in FFVII, but Zack's the guy who rescues Zack after the Nibelheim incident, though this results in his own death.

Crisis Core is awesome because it shows Zack's story, giving him a back story and whatnot and I absolutely love him! He is my favorite. :3

Also, in Advent Children Complete, which is out in Japan now, he gets a few more scenes so I'm happy. :3
