Kane Hodder is a big fat NO for Grey Fox, thats like The Terminator being played by DJ Qualls. If there really is gonna be a film then my choice for Grey Fox would be Ray Park Aka Snake Eyes from G.I Joe. he looks great in a full body suit & already knows how to use martial arts & a sword.

Personally i think they should do a full CGI movie like Avatar, that way they can have all the character voices from the game, to me this is what this game really needs.

A good list, but there are several unusual choices. Jane as Snake is wrong because Jane is huge compared to what Snake looks like in the games. He would have to lose a lot of muscle to play him. Christian Bale is in the perfect figure for him and the he looks extremely like Solid Snake in the video games. Kane Hodder for Gray Fox? I mean really. The other choices are fine, but there need to be some changes if you want this to be a good list.

If I was producing an MGS film, I would go with a lot of unknown actors and actresses. Having Drew Barrymore, and Uma Thurman etc, showing up would really take away the illusion for a lot of people, and make them just think "oop another Class A actor/actress, this isn't actually happening it's a hollywood movie".

Resident Evil and Metal gear had about an equal success rate. Konami and Capcom went balls-out during the 32-bit era. As Konami focused on quality, Capcom focused on quantity. But both were neck and neck as far as popularity. Some even argue that Solid Snake is more recognizable than Chris or Clair Redfield. Yet, they made several a successful movies of the famed Capcom series. I really do think there is money here for producers. The potential is greater than any "scrip to flick" film

If an MGS movie turned out like the RE movies I'd be sad. Sure, they're fine movies but they aren't RE. Games like RE 1 & 2 had great potential to become dark, horror flicks but the movies went the RE4 & 5 way =/
