Ok, if the zune HD is the actual video player, and connecting it to a tv sends a video signal to the tv, then the Zune is playing HD (the same way your blu-ray player plays HD).
If the TV is only reading the file off the Zune and generating the video itself, then the Zune is NOT playing HD.
I don't know which one it is, because my Zune is not HD and I don't care, but I have a feeling it's the former, not the latter, which means Asian needs to get a better grip on logic.

No - the smaller Zune's are flash/NAND-based. Thusly they have no HDD for you to replace/modify. If you have a 4GB, however, I don't see what's stopping you from switching out the mainboard with that of an 8GB

In some cases, yes, in others not. The iPod nano has a bigger display that is, BTW, not LED. This means that it's a lot less brighter, uses more battery, and the colors look less vibrant. The Zune 120 GB has the same resolution as the display in the iPod Classic (and is not LED), meaning that images/videos look more pixelated.
I like zunes better, but its very sad to see a Zune owner having no idea what they`re talking about, like ipod fanboys. The Zune has an OLED screen, not an HD screen. It's pretty much impossible to have an HD screen in such a small device. And an LED screen looks very sharp. Hell, OLED`s are pretty much LED screens. Then tell me how the hell it plays HD? Your tv can, but the Zune can't. It can store 720P files, but it cannot exactly play it HD.

Yeah, my words exactly. I never said it didn't have a 720p output. SOme guy said that the Zune HD is FULL HD that it can play HD on the device and such. I just responded to the person and said it does not play HD but can only play it on the TV. Please read my other comments before judging.

There is only one HDD that is larger, and that's Toshiba's latest 1.8" drive. They say it's the same size (physically) as the old 120 - so I don't see why not.

i love my zune because it has radio, and i got it really cheap for 90 bucks plus tax for the 30g, I don't really care that it's "big" it gets the job done.

that fucking spinny wheel annoys me...plus. The zune has wifi sharing (Great when you wanna show a song to friends) and best of all - Radio. Hahaha. thats not as great with the like...120gb cause you can have all if not most of your music on it, but its fucking ace with the smaller 30gbs and stuff.

Holy crap...use a camera much? No one wants to hear you sniffing and breathing. The fix, buy a directional microphone or blow your nose. Next, the music is retarded and overshadows most of the guys quiet voice. Finally, try using a tripod. Causing motion sickness doesn't really benefit anyone.
