  • Yo this geeza is sick tabla player man

  • I know these kaidas. At 20 seconds, he starts playing:

Dha ti ta dha ti ta dha dha ti ta dha ge tin na kin na

Taa ti ta Taa ti ta Dha dha ti ta Dha ge dhin na gin na

At 2 minutes 31 seconds, he starts playing:

Dha tira kita tak dhira dhira kita tak

Dha tira kita tak tin na kita tak

Taa tira kita tak Tira Tira kita tak

Dha tira kita tak dhin na kita tak

I am learning those two kaidas in my tabla class, they're not that hard, he just plays them really good, and that's why they are awesome.

  • @KMuzumdar and who cares about you loser

  • @KMuzumdar

    Hi !

Indeed, the kaidas you signaled are the first ones taught to beginners.

And believe me, they are hard. For this reason only masters make us drill them right from the start. Tabla walas justly nickname them "simple but difficult". Simple to recite, hard to play even at med speed in a relaxed manner, without tiring your fingers.

For me, one of the most hardcore kaida is Dha Dha Ti Te / Dha Dha Tu Na, on page 1 of any tabla wala. Try it at 100 bpm with the lehera machine.

  • @shishyupal Dear I can understand your point, Ti Te Kaydas are hard for biginners. But there is a way out to reach at a considerable perfection of TiTe. Secret lies in learning Kaherwa ( although there is no Ti Te in Kaherwa ), Its a trick of the trade which is not taught by Ustads to the common people. You can learn it frm me without tears, I am a deciple of Usd Seikh Dawood

  • @KMuzumdar Woh Riyaz ke Taal Hain. Lekin tum Delhi Gharane se nahin hoge. Main Delhi Gharane so hun.

  • my favourite kaida, you can [play around with it so much with ease, this demonstration is amazing. beautiful.

  • WOW that was beautiful

  • i can't stop watching 3:16-3:25.

  • Amazing....great job!

  • omg that was so fukin good :P

    sorrie for swearing :P

  • OMG YOUVE GOT MAGIC HANDS

  • da,mn this guy si throwing it down!!!

  • kyaa baat hai wahhh wahhhh 10 out of 10 dosto

  • he isn`t a trained solo preformer..

He is a great ghazal and qawali tabla player..

But hindustani classical music is a field wich takes years and years of disipline, training, practising, developing.. It`s 2 bad that these kind of tabla players stop developing by playing in these kind of bands or groups. One must develop first..

    But nice video any how!!

Nice 2 have such a couple of musicions!!

  • what does it matter that he is traint in ghazal and qawalli if he can play ghazal and qawwalli tahn he can play tabla just tabla dont make it sound hard

  • amazing, i luv the clarity.

  • Ah, it was youtube screwing up the sound!

Thank you for posting this video! That guy is fantastic! I've just started to learn tabla myself and seeing performers such as this inspires me so much.

  • No sound. :(
