this phone is a piece of crap do not buy ity. the touch screen is not allignede correctly. if you are right handed you cant hold the phone with your right hand or you block the lense it shuts off on its own several times a day and freezes several times daily. that plus you need to charge the battery at least twice a day it only last maybe 4 to 5 hrs. dont let them tell you otherwise. it was a mistake they promoted and thats the reason the prices have dropped so they can unload them

@mdacur i have this phone on the Sprint service and i only charge it at night...its frozen up on me a few times ill give you that...but its not a daily hassle..the camera could be in a better position though..i like the touch screen but it gets scratched easily....overall i like this phone..everyone has their own view and i understand them.

freezes a min of twice a day turns off on its own at least 2 or 3 times daily. can use it outside the screen glares back at you,if you try to dial from the touch screen it appears the symbols and the board are not aligned you touch 5 you get 8 touch 6 you get 9. have to keep it locked all the time the slightest touch and it will dial a nbr. cant text with one hand always sounds like it breaks when you open it needs to be charged 2x a day,manual is poorly written should i continue?

I have this phone, I thought it'd be cool. I got it right when it came out.. I seriously hate it.

It freezes and lags sometimes.. Blah. And it's really hard to text on the keyboard with one hand, and the touch screen is only good for typing numbers really. Can't text on the touch screen!

@devinmilan Freezing and lagging I understand, but your other two complaints seem to go against the way it was designed. Why use the number pad to text when you have a keyboard? ...and not being able to use both hands means you're probably texting while driving, which nobody should do to begin with.

I thought I'd love this phone. It was great when I first got it, but I'll be real. The phone freezes a bunch when you're texting. Like if you get a message, while texting, it freezes and shuts down. The front of this phone is what attracted me. You can't see the illuminated screen in the sunlight. It smudges and scratches VERY easily. I asked Sprint for a screen protector when I got it and they said it didn't fuckin' have one!

@militol well when i had the first one it did these things:

1) it froze anytime i received a text while doing something else on the phone

2) it is too slow when you are typing a message so it will freeze while showing your words that are being typed.

an 3) when reading through the previous messages it would freeze and make you have to take out the battery and put it back in to restart it(it basically freezes for everything)

111wetwilly: You have to buy the grey silver for boost. Each boost phone has a identification number to activate it. I think the silver/grey is just as nice as the black. If the color bothers you that much though just get a nice black cover. There are some really cool ones on ebay.

@prhartford Well keep in mind TMobile is capable of faster web browsing and a better expireance overall. Also, phones are MUCH cheaper (after the two year discount ofcoarse). That said, boost is cheaper and tmobile is usually REALY slow and is not covered in alot of places, however, tmobile has family plans, boost doesnt, thats BASICALLY the only reason its still around lol.

@sidkid75 first of all when you check your history on the small screen you would think it will tell you what time someone has called you once you press the OK button it will ask you, if you want to call that person. another thing is that if you want to listen to music you will have to wait at least 30 to 40 seconds for the next song to come on, there is no button for the camera you actually have to go inside the main menu for this, same goes if u want to lower volume on music etc.....SUCKS ASS!

i have one for boost and u can receive txt msg pretty fast i was actually surprise. it runs on 3g cdma and the internet is really fast compare to the other phones and it has around 60mb but u can add up to 16gb with the micro memory card

i got this phone today with boost mobile. i love it. the touch front is sensative and i accedentally hung up on my mom, but all you have to do is angle is a certain way. the toch is good for making quick phone calls if you dont want to open it.

Do you have to have one of the "everything" plans to use this phone? I just got an Instinct but when we called to activate it they told us that the phone won't work without full internet access, and that's an extra $30 a month.

just got this phone today, its real good. i just need a basic phone and this steps up to the plate. Loud ringer, the vibrate is noticeable and texting is great with the keyboard. The camera is good and i can save the pics to my laptop. ITS GREAT!
