He had nothing to do with the show going off the air... when Eddie Murphy left, so did this show's audience. And since it was so expensive and took such a long time to produce each episode, the plug was pulled shortly thereafter.

People in media care about one thing, and one thing only-- money. As the show's ratings fell, FOX dropped it; and the WB network felt it couldn't justify its comparably high cost ,plus extremely long relative production time, against the salaries the actors were getting. An agreement couldn't be reached with Murphy, so he left.
I doubt he or anyone else gave a damn what Spike Lee had to SAY, it was all about PAY. End of story.
this cartoon is no more offensive to me than family guy is to white folks//spike knock it off. girl 6 was offensive
