  • @beastlestnisity its the new york philharmonic, people come from all over the world to just play in it, you can't get in it unless someone dies...they have enough low brass

  • @MilesPerSecond39 haha agreed sir. this is an incredible collection of musicians playing an amazing piece of music.

  • The guy's face was purple at 5:05 !!

  • she said taco :D

  • We played the New World Symphony in All-City. The year before that we played in Lincoln center where NY phil plays. We played Beethovens 5th, crisantemi, and a few other pieces. Amazing concert hall and amazing concert. Would love to play for Philharmonic oneday

  • i love listening to the new york philharmonic orchestra because mmy oboe teacher was 1st chair

  • he was trying to say have a good time in korean

  • I believe she said mita.

  • I love this symphony, it's full of magic. We watched this concert in orchestra class. It's so feirce, and wonderful. I would love to play this symphony.

  • This cuts of Robert's solo! :|

  • yup it does

  • They just played at my College. I thought they were phenomenal.

  • The New York Phil played at your college?! Where do you go to school??

It surely wasn't the whole orchestra though, perhaps a chamber group?

  • the philharmonic just got off tour; one of their stops was ann arbor so i would assume Michigan. it was the entire orchestra

  • I got to Centre College, in Danville Kentucky. Yea, it was the whole orchestra. They were amazing.

  • go*

  • Holy crap.

    They were at Centre?

    uh-mazing.

    hahaha.

  • Molto bello.

    Complimenti.

  • "Georgexxx83" If I were in charge and you said something like that. I would strap your dumb ass to the nuke and drop it in the desert. Get out of America you "Bloody" Bastard. I hope that is a little more classy for you.

  • what are you talking about, The New York Philharmonic is one of the best in the world, how at all was there performance bad. Also do you even know the first thing about America, you obivously don't, because we do have culture, and at least we can have some respect for other cultures and backrounds.

  • Tell me 5 things that weren't good about this performance. And saying that all American orchestras butcher music is a very ignorant and narrow minded statement. We have a great appreciation for art, . This country is filled with many great people that are very generous, people that steal are the minority. Your being very stubborn by just saying that everything is bad about America, you are making very ignorant close minded statements. Where did u come from that must be so completly perfect?

  • Also you keep saying that Americans have no appreciation for art, when you have absolutly no respect for our country.

  • I have a question for you, cause I'm a bit confused. I know I probably sound like the biggest idiot ever, but if you leave a comment with nothing, just a lot of space, what does it mean exactly? I'm guessing it means you hated it?

  • what??

  • He said have a good time in Korean

  • Does anyone know what Maazel said at 1:10-1:14?

  • have a nice time

  • Thanks.

  • lol The New World Symphony was my marching show my Senior year of High school.

Obviously it was arranged for a marching Band and was a little less difficult. But I am imfinitely grateful for being given the opportunity to play this piece.

    Best years of my life.

  • It all looks so formal ^_^

  • yeah, its the New York Philharmonic

  • north korean too

  • The right name of the symphony is "From the New World" in czech: "Z nového světa". composed by Antonín (not Anton ;-)) Dvořák. But thx for posting, gr8.

  • my moms czech

and my dad plays in the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra :)

    he plays bass trombone

  • GO BSO!!!!!!

  • ty :)

  • bso stands for boston symphony orchestra.

or at least thts how it commonly known.

    fail.

  • They aree both BSO...

    fail.

  • well here in Baltimore we call our Baltimore Symphony Orchestra the BSO. We usually don't get it confused with the Boston Symphony Orchestra (also known as the BSO). The Boston BSO is more world renowned i guess. I think we should be the BMSO.

  • what do you mean..this is one of the top Symphonies in the word...they know their scales LOL

  • yea chriscassino your a retard lmao

  • What did Maazel say last before they played the symphony?

  • i love this song( and she said taco lol )

  • i know they preformed with portishead, are there any other musicans they've collaborated with?

  • I just posted the 4 videos above. They are from a North American Tour of Eurythmy performances in 2005. It let me experience the music in audio and visual form, every orchestral performance would be so great if we could see the music as well as hear it.

many blessings from Marianne in Canada

  • Fantastic!!

  • i need some real recordings of these guys.

  • listen to this orchestra under mehta or masur. golden age.

  • She's cute

  • he is better than bush

  • Maestro Maazel is so cute! "좋은시간 되세요!"

haha Bush needs to learn these diplomatic manners from him.

  • I really Mr. Bush himself will watch this all along. I hope he really will.

  • Very nice people in both side.

  • did "dear leader" attend the concert?

  • Nope. "North Korea's leader Kim Jong-il did not attend the concert, but vice president of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly Yang Hyong-sop and the Foreign Ministry's America chief Li Gun were present." (Wikipedia)
