I think this form is done very well. I feel though that it could be accompanied with applications, then the meaning of this amazing form would come to light.

I really enjoyed this video. It is one of the more involved sabre forms I have seen. Could you let us know a bit more about where this form came from? Is this form well known in Hong Kong tai chi circles? Would you be willing to post a video of some applications from your form?

To the best of my knowledge, this form is from the Wu family. I have no plan doing any more videos.

@voluptuate This Form is from the Wu family taught by Cheng Tin Hung from 1950s up to 1990s when he retired. I am now retired, too, and will not do any more demo. Sorry.

Thanks a lot for posting these videos, it's always so useful to have them as a reference. There are always many small things that come up in my practice, especially when I'm not in Edinburgh and don't have a teacher to answer my questions. Invaluable.

Sorry. I am too lazy to do it again now. Beginning this year, I spend a lot of time on line dancing. it's fun. Maybe you should consider doing line dance, too.

I do line dance for the longest time ;-) It's the best way to exercise while having fun with your friends. Anyway, thanks for posting. This video is quite helpful. I forgot most of whatever that I learned before already. One thing though, I remember my dad did this routine a little faster and with a lot of force from time to time. Kungfu is like calligraphy, everybody has his own way, I guess.

Glad to know you do line dance, too. I started line dancing only a little more than 2 1/2 years ago.

Your dad must be a much stronger man than I am. Nowadays, people don't know what the original looks like. They make all routines soft and slow.
