And now we find out Jesse jr. was candidate #5 and his supporters (campaign contributors) DID offer Blago up to $1.5 million for the seat. The only question is, did Junior know about and/or authorize the offer? This should be fully investigated.

BTW, rumors flying it was Jesse Senior who tipped the MSM. Wanted to blow up the story before Junior had an opportunity to finalize a deal with Blago.

Congressman Jackson does not need to pay money to get elected. He has gained the respect he has for working with Republicans like Hyde and is miles ahead of his dad in responsible behavior. It is too bad that he will not get the vacant senate seat now. He has the brains and the skills, and I think he could have gotten elected state-wide in a couple of years too. He will probably end up just staying a congressman. What a waste!
