  • Apparently this song was supposed to reach the achievements similar to that of Birdhouse in your Soul. They tried to put too much into this, a simpler and more linear score might have helped, but we'll never know :)

  • I was working for a college radio station when this came out. The biggest TMBG fan on staff was too slow in snagging this from the semi-weekly music deliveries to be reviewed before placing in rotation. I got it and he was sad he wasn't the first in the place to hear and put his stamp of approval on it. Still my favorite TMBG album of all...

  • S-SNAIL S-SHELL

  • I remember playing this on my sony walkman all the time back in 2004. I took a trip to St.Louis Missouri with this song playing constantly! I would always picture Doc Ock and Spiderman fighting from Spiderman 2 , my fav. part is at 3:06!

  • It is said that shame is one of the most powerful ruling emotions.

    HOLY-

I knew They Might Be Giants has been around for a while ...

but this song is older than me.

  • @EvilEmoCupcakes I know! They've been around since 1982! "Installing and Servicing Melody since 1982" is their quote.

  • @EvilEmoCupcakes I know what you mean. I got John Henry the night at their concert....I was only two when it came out....

  • @EvilEmoCupcakes They've been around longer than that. Their first album came out in 1986. :)

  • John Henry is so under rated

  • I saw them when they were touring in support of this album. They got shut down cause of too many folks in the venue and were allowed one more song. 30 minutes later the fire marshall caught on and pulled the plug. Luckily this is one of the songs they did before their big medley lol

  • slappen de bass!

  • Is there a video for "End of the Tour" from this album?

  • @HeroOfHyla Sadly this was the only music video for this album.

  • i didn't even know they made a video for this

  • This album was cool before I even began to understand drunk/high. Now, 15 years later, it still beats every other wasted moment I've had.

  • This song it totally about masturbation. Totally. "Sir Hand... or is it Ma'am?"

  • this particular tmbg song is just one the coolest rock songs

  • Wow - I totally forgot about this song...

  • I actually liked the back to skull version bettah. Still a great track though!

  • This song needs more love. Hell, the whole album does.

  • @mamaluigi7 Your name is Mama Luigi and you're a TMBG fan? I'm adding you to my Friends list.

  • @mamaluigi7 I agree, but it still is one of their best albums.
