  • I am a product JUNKY!! I saw your video on Beautiful Textures and bought the entire line.

  • I feel you on the coconut oil! I just threw my glass jar out tonight and I am 22 mnths in as well. and yes honey that Hello Hydration is the bidnessss!

  • The coconut oil you purchased to cook with was probably refined. All Coconut oils that I have ever purchased have that super yummy coconu-ty smell :)

  • @empressm6 Really?? I learned something new! Thanks!

  • after I am done with my hair products I will purchase design essentials...it seems like a wonderful product and you hair looks great.

  • @vsimmons6130 The stretching cream is really really good. The STRETCH, shine, moisture, and definition are on point.

  • I watched this video earlier today and came back to comment. I too have so many products to use up and I was going to TRY to use them up before buying new ones. HOWEVER, your mentioning Design Essentials makes me want to try the stretching cream on my hair

  • @13ikea - you cab use it on your hair and skin

  • @ernstlubin - tropical traditions [dot] com

  • Where can I find Design Essentials Stretching Cream???

  • WHere did you purchase your coconut oil from?

  • Check out my Channel when you have some time

I would really like to know what you think of my videos!

It would Mean ALOT if you subscribed as well! :)

    Have a great day!

  • What are the different uses for coconut oil?

  • I've done an egg, mayo, grapeseed, & condish mix for a deep conditioner many times works wonders!

  • @ernstlubin I'm a product reviewer for my natural hair website do they contact me.

  • Your hair looks healthy and lucious!! I have a question how do get certain products to come to you for free?

  • @Nesheaholic Thanks! Let's save money together.

  • @mrsv2you You can get this specific oil from tropicaltraditions com or amazon. But coconut oil in general can be found at many stores.

  • Great video! I definitely need to take a page out of your book and finish up some products before I buy any more.

  • Where do u purchase ur coconut oil from bc I can't find it?

  • @mrsv2you I got mine off of ebay.

  • Gurl if u really want to get rid of the products, they sooooooooooooooo welcome to me, would luv to try the products from America LOL :)

  • @ChisomWrites Lol @ vegans.

  • @kurlyjay Hey sis! I'm glad you loved the video. I think it's a great idea for you to make a favorites video. It helps if u stick with just a few items for the month. I'm really trying to get rid of these products.

  • Thank you for really talking on the nature of sulfate and one's approach to them. I get so sick of natural hair vegans (as I call them) that are soooo anti sulfate. The fact of the matter is one's scalp every once in while needs a good cleaning. Sulfates should just be used in moderation.

  • Majority of the products you reviewed are AWESOME products! Ive never tried Mizani but ive tried ALL the other ones... This was a greta video and you've inspired me to do the same for the month of Jan.

  • @tonyajuanise Yes I remoisturized with the baby ButterCreme every couple of days BC straightened hair gets dry faster. My hair felt moisturized though so I probably didn't need to put it on as often as I did

  • @tonyajuanise Wow that sounds yummy! Lol yes right around the corner!!!

  • @soursop I Agree it does look like that. I think it's because the top of my hair grows slower than the rest but I didn't do anything to get it like that. When I take my flat twists out, I just pull n push. When I two strand twist my hair (video145) or braid my hair (video 146) it doesn't fall like this but all my flat twist outs look like this now (video 144).

  • Hey it looks like your hair is in a deva-cut. Even if not how did you get it in that shape?

  • @soursop Hey sis. no deva-cut for me, I dont think I will EVER cut my hair for style purposes bc I want ankle length hair (lol forreal I do!). When I style my hair in flat twists this is the shape I get based on how I set my twists. When I do braid outs (video 146) or twist outs (video 145) the shape is different.

  • Oh and quick question, when you used the baby buttercreme, did you have to remoisturize during the week? Since the mineral oil is on top, wouldnt it prevent any other moisture from coming in? Im just curious cuz I have a big ol jar and Im trying to figure out what to use for spring/summer. Yes Im getting prepared earrrlyyy. Lol

  • Girl Im not with mixing ingredients myself, so I use Etae natural's carmel deep conditioner. It is mixed with honey, bananas, olive oil, molasses, apple cidar vinegar and tea tree oil. Its the bizzzznesss! My hair loves coconut oil too, love the shine it gives. Is your oil unrefined? Your anniversary is right around the corner!

  • @angiebee78 Oh no it stunk???

  • @just1missp Yes! Muah!

  • @gflowers02 Thanks for subbing! I have an accent??? Lol can u tell where I'm from?

  • @VeePeeJay Yay! Thanks sis!

  • @Naturaljacq Haha! Cool!

  • @nakeasimone13 Ain't it? I love my hair! WW has been so good to me. Just a few more pounds to lose to get down to pre pregger weight! Hey hair twin! Congrats on your BC and thanks for making mr a part of your journey.

  • @luvnnapps I wouldn't use the smoothie under shea butter. Try wetting your hair, then put Ur leave in on, then oil, then smoothie n see how u like it. If you still don't like it, I'm sure Ur relaxed friends will enjoy it.

  • @teachmetostyle Yes! Muah!

  • @dreadonyale1 Hey sis, thanks! No I've never tried any Carols Daughter products as of yet. Hard? Try wetting your hair, then put on Ur leave in, then oil, then smoothie, then twist n loc. See if that order makes a difference.

  • Will u please share your flat twisting technique?

  • Hey, great video! Btw, I'm new to your channel and I just love your accent ;-)

  • Yay!!! I'm trying the KILL the STASH under my sink, in the cupboards etc. No I'm not a a junkie, I'm a connoisseur! lol

I have returned to the smoothie this month too, I have put it away to play with newer stuff!

Great video! Love your hair :)

  • I have my own way of getting rid of products, My husband! He can tell when I have given up on a product and steps right in and uses it up! Gotta love him!

  • Hey sis, your twist out is da bomb.com! Lol! And you are looking good since starting WW! Anyway good vid, I feel the same way about coconut oil also so I feel you on that! Lol. Most of the products you talked about I use also. I have the same texture as you so I consider you my hair twin. I been following you since deciding to go natural in February 2011! I BC'ed this past August and have been loving my natural hair since. So again thanks for sharing!

  • Love your videos!!!! Have you ever used Carol's Daughter products? The Loc Butter? I'm still searching for a good styling products. I use the shea moisture smoothie with the organic twist and loc. I don't like it because my hair feels hard..

  • @Blakizbeautiful-I used the smoothie a few times on damp hair then sealed w/my Shea butter mix. I did the same thing w/the other product too. Throughout the week I spritz w/water & seal w/my Shea butter. Im the only natural in my friend circle but I'll see if my relaxed girls want these products. Delaware is still in the dark ages about meet-ups *sighs*

  • I've mixed mayonnaise with honey, olive oil and avocado as a deep conditioner.

  • I've been on a product buying fast since last year. My goal has also been to use up what I have (so I can buy more! lol). For real though, there are more products that I want to try, but I've got to make a dent in what I already have.

  • Can you do a tut on your flat twist

  • I did the mayonnaise with egg as a deep conditioner and I could not stand the smell. My hair did feel good though!!

  • Love your hair in this video...

  • Where do you find the design essentials products? Unfortunately, I really don't like the curl enhancing smoothie! I also have the Keracare butter creame twist define mess. I realized last night that it dries my hair out! 2 products up for the trash lol

  • @luvnnapps How are you using both of these products? The very first time I used the smoothie It was a tragic fail. but then I tried it again in a different way and it has been my new love ever since! Maybe we can trouble shoot. And if all else fails, you should swap it with someone or donate it to a friend or family member like I do.

  • @luvnnapps I forgot to answer your first questions, design essentials has a website where you can purchase their products. Ive also seen some of their products in my local beauty supply store.

  • I am currently doing the same thing but I started back in November. It has been hard for me but mixing my hair products with kitchen products has been a hair saver. I am determined to save money when it comes to hair products.

  • @IbellieveGod *High Five* We have to start saving money and getting rid of all these products. Do you still have a lot left?

  • @IbellieveGod I make my own also because I see how a lot of the natural products prices has tripled. And that is ridiculous. I use castile soap and follow 4bnfree directions on making my shampoo. I'm looking into making a leave-in con. Right now I use the Shea Moisture Hibiscus Coconut line for my leave-in.

  • The Organic Root Stimulator hair mayo is awesome. I used it once a week when was relaxed. I just revisited it and still love it. Great vid, loved it!

  • @redraf04 isnt it the bomb [dot] com???! Thanks! Im glad you liked it, It took a lot of time and I appreciate you watching and commenting. You rock!

  • This happened to me JUST TODAY!! I used my Curl Enhancing Smoothie to moisturize last night. I twisted, and curled my twists on perm rods. My hair was SO GORGEOUS this morning!!! However, by the time I made it from the parking lot to the church, my hair was a cotton ball!! LOL! I think I'll try some of the baby butter creme samples I got at a hair show and re-twist tonight.

  • @latoya1908 OH NO!! We have to learn the hard way. Its the glycerin!! Glycerin is so good but yet so annoying! Let me know how the baby buttercreme holds up to humidity, okie?

  • Hello sis. I was wondering where you purchased your denman brush. Thanks

  • @Summerbeeuty you can get it at Sallys or check your local beauty supply.

  • Longtime stalker first time commenter lol. About the coconut, true unrefined, unprocessed coconut oil should smell like coconut oil. I get my coconut oil from Nigeria and it smells like I just broke open a coconut everytime I open the jar. If it doesn't smell like coconuts then its been processed to get some of the impurities out.

  • @omonaijanimi REALLY?? Thanks for informing me sis!

  • @omonaijanimi True statement.
