  • Buddy, you Da Man. Keep 'em coming. You're showing us how it's done. THANKS for the music and the music lessons!

  • fantastic

  • Another superb job Buddy. Also nice of you to roll out a whole lot more of your guitar collection to make me envious. Are you delibrately going out of your way to hurt me? You really are a very lucky boy, although I bet you've worked damned hard to obtain all those gorgeous toys. No doubt you deserve them. Really beautiful work again, but I've come to expect this sort of quality from your posts. I hope to be 1/50th as good as you someday.

  • @micktube64 Thanks! I'm just an average player and I hardly get a chance to play anymore because I work all of the time...but I still love to play music when I can.

  • you're great, bet you were some cool guy back in the day judging by your guitar collection and posters

  • @lees2oo8 I still am...LOL

  • Do the strings on a 12 string tune in like a standard guitar? 2e's 2a's 2d's 2g's 2b's 2e's. I'm just startin out on guitar, & a friend gave me a 12 string guitar with no strings on it. I want to buy the strings, but I'm not sure how to tune it in......

  • @dickygear Yes, except some of the strings are an octave higher than the other string in the pair.

  • like your playing very much.....would be interesting doing some Metallica !!!!!!

  • i bet you wish you cud sing huh?

  • @psychogulay Actually...I can, I just choose not to.

  • Buddy,

What about doing a cover for "As Tears Go By" by Rolling Stones,

    Thanks in Advance!

  • Nice sound, but some your facial expression is too neutral.

  • in what tuning do u have your guitar for this song

  • @cybercop112 Standard tuning.

  • @BuddyClontz thx!!

  • this guy is a hoss

  • Nice job. 12 string really sounds nice. It makes up for the higher octave sitar on the original.

  • @lakefloor Thanks!

  • Fantastic! I'd like to know the little extras you've put in there. :-)

  • I really dig this. Great cover. I think the 12 string really holds up with the lack of a sitar.

  • @AntmanFelix Thanks!

  • That's some pretty good stuff, Buddy.

    Thank you.

  • @tripleJ1955 Thanks!

  • Awesome performance.I´ve been listening to the Beatles´music for mor than 47 years and you´re really good at playing the guitar.

  • @basocelular Thanks! I've been listening to it almost as long also. I'm a life-long fan of their music as a group and as individual musicians.

  • GREAT!!

  • 12 string guitars are awesome to listen to

  • @limeChime99 Thanks!

  • Hey B.C. I Love How You Make Guitar Playing Look Like Child's Play. Great Job Sir. Keep It Up. God Bless

  • Thanks!

  • Nice job, Dude :)

The 12 string is just right too, it gives that sitar feel

  • lol

  • damm is there a song u cant play!? good work!

  • Thanks!, Yes there are a few...LOL

  • i have to say Blackbird is one of my favorite acoustic songs besides Hotel California

  • I covered Blackbird and posted it...and I may do Hotel California eventually.

  • you kinda look like Clapton from the early 90's.

  • when i awoke, i was alone, this bird had flown. so i lit a fire, isn't it good, norwegian wood. awesome playing man, sounded great.

  • Thanks!

  • nice peter max pictures u got hangin up there..

    and nice cover.

  • Thanks! I have been collecting Peter Max art since the early 1970's. -BC

  • Hey brother, that was very well done. I especially like the runs in the minor section. If you get the chance, try playing this capo2, but leaving the E open. You might like the resonance you get when you have that low note in the D chord. Either way, fantastic playing.

  • Thanks! -BC

  • Superb! Thanks Buddy!

  • you ever try using the capo in that song?

  • No...I usually play it the way I did on this video. -BC

  • Great, I enjoy it very much, often. I was able to play it on my 12 string (FD400SC) thanks to you. I really enjoy playing it thanks to you. Keep the 12 string songs coming. Again thanks a bunch.

  • the ikea song @ norwegian wood :)

nice.. but why don't u smile a bit? i miss this in ur whole songs ;)

  • I probably should smile more...but I don't really think about it. My mind is usually focused on the music I am playing. To be honest on this particular video, I felt really bad after a day at work and was in a lot of pain and I guess it came through...LOL -BC

  • ikea is swedish

  • the 12 string gives it a nice sitar sound

  • wow nice

    Everybody check out my videos

  • You have a lot of guitars.

Ithink you take a good choice for a 12

    guitar.

    Thanks.

  • Great work mann.....but put some EMOTION into it!!!....

well it may be hard on 12 strings but on 6 its finee

  • :-) :-o :-( !

  • lol

  • Jingle jangle, lovely work, sonically rich.Been checking out all the different versions on YT, awesome!

If you have time I'd love you to check out my feature vid for another angle on Norwegian Wood.

  • Thanks! I'll do that. -BC

  • I listened to Norman Blake long days ago.

    Please try him.

  • Buddy, I never get tired of watching you play this song or Scorbourgh Fair. Hope to see you play blue grass.

    Thanks

  • Thanks! The closest thing I suppose I have done to a Blue Grass tune is a song I used to do with a Praise and Worship group called "The Happy Song". It's pretty much BG with a my attempt at a Bluess Grass feel and lead part. I have it on MP3 and I just might upload it sometime. -BC

  • Omg!!! Beatiful Work man!

  • Thanks! -BC

  • thanks for your info buddy , i will have to do a little saving up before i can go for one of them tf 250s cheers jimmy :)

  • Good Luck Jimmy! -BC

  • hi buddy nice playing .

i take it that this takamine tf250 is your upgrade from your , eg523 .

it sounds better than the , eg523, which sounded a little , harsh on your , here comes the sun .

can you tell me how much the new one cost you ?

in pounds , if possible , cheers jimmy :) .

  • Hi Jimmy! I upgraded to this guitar about 3 months after I bought the other one. I sold it to a female soldier going to Iraq...at a loss, but I didn't care. I figured she'd need it for a comfortable diversion. The TF250SMC-12 normally sells for about $2200-$2300 US Dollars(You'll have to do the conversion). They are fine guitars and you'll like one if you pick one up. -BC

  • Are twelve strings hard to tune?

  • No...

  • boy i wish i could play bass for you. i think you are great! you play the songs we play in our band and i always learn from you. thanks, jim from day trip'n

  • Thanks Jim! I wish I had a back-up group also. I'd like to get out there a little and play some before I get too old to do it...LOL -BC

  • the 12 string sounds great!!

    a lot like a sitar!

  • Thanks...and I agree. Sometimes there is a bit of the character of the sitar present. -BC

  • The master at work - watched it loads - Thanks for playing for ME!!.

  • Thank you for taking the time to watch and listen. -BC

  • hmmm nice 12 string you make me wanna buy that thing

  • Amazing. Can't stop watching your vids. You've inspired me to practise harder. Thanks.

  • Thanks! I need to do some practicing myself. -BC

  • That sounds so magical. Awesome job on one of my favourite beatles songs!!!

  • Thank You! -BC

  • O.K. I gotta ask, Just how many guitars do you have?

  • I have 13 right now...here with me...LOL -BC

  • Lol do you have some stored?

  • There are a couple more in other places... -BC

  • Beautiful playing, man.

By the way that room you're in is very groovy.

  • Thanks! -BC

  • Thanks! -BC

  • or did george play the sittar on this track?

  • I believe he did. -BC

  • wow u played both George's and John's part that was awsome

  • Thanks! -BC

  • Hey BC Have You Ever Tried To Play Tennessee Flat Top Box Before? Reason I Ask Is After Watching Some Of Your Videos You Sound Like You Would Enjoy Doing That Song. Gotta Give You Credit Your A Heck Of A Guitarist Keep Up The Good Work. God Bless

  • Thanks! -BC

  • excuse me, isn't it supposed to be played with a capo on the second fret in the original beat version or am i mistaking? thanks.

  • It's played wherever you want to play it. Thanks for watching! -BC

  • The original recorded version does have the capo on the second fret, yes.

  • Your house looks like Disneyland for guitarists especially if they're a bit partial to sixties rock

  • I guess so. I have a few guitars at this point...LOL -BC

  • what kind of amp/effects are you using? sounds like some chorus fx?--nice vid.

  • I ran the guitar through my studio monitors on this one...and I may have put a little chorus on it but I can't remember. The 12-string has the natural chorus sound without any effects added. -BC

  • Man i have been thinking of getting a 12 string and now i have seen and heard u i really have too!

  • Thanks! Go for it! They take some getting used to, but nothing else sounds like them. -BC

  • i lovee the lava lamp!! anyway great cover this is my favorite song i love it on a 12 string

  • Thanks! -BC

  • is that a fender jazzmaster next to ur bass

  • No, That is one of my 3 Fender Stratocasters. -BC

  • What about Neil Young songs?

  • I will have to do some Neil Young stuff and some Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young tunes as well. I love all of that stuff. I met David Crosby once and in 1990, Graham Nash actually dedicated a song to my youngest daughter(she was a baby at the time) during a CS&N concert in Wilmington, NC. The song was "Teach Your Children". -BC

  • how much are those guitars? i love the tone, and your playing is so awesome! great beatles cover! it takes some serious skill to be able to do that on a 12 string.

isn't there a 6 string that sounds similar in tone?

  • Thanks for watching! The Takamine TF 250 SMC-12 retails for around $3200 and you can get one on sale for around $2300+- . They are nice guitars and are very well made. -BC

  • Maton are good too! john butler uses them or the ricken backer 700c

  • You're cool mate!!! :)

  • Thanks! -BC

  • love it - thanks

  • Thanks! -BC

  • Hey man, you are incredible! But I have one question, where do you get your music? Thanks, Justin.

  • Thanks! I listen to songs and play them by ear. I do not use written music or Tab. -BC

  • Beautiful sound man!great job,I hope viewers appreciate how difficult it is to finger pick a "12 string".

  • Thanks! I doubt they know...LOL -BC

  • great cover man, it would be better if you put a capo in the 2nd freet (in standard tunning).

congratulations for your grandson and your "wikipaper" guitars. greetings from México.

  • Buddy, you have reproduced the sound so perfectly in your other Beatles videos, that I'm curious why you chose the 12 string for this when the recording clearly is a 6 string. However this does sound like Take 1 though. Is that what you were reproducing?

  • Thanks! Actually, I just thought I'd use my new(at the time) Takamine 12-string acoustic guitar...LOL Sometimes I use guitars that are different from the original guitar used in a recording just to present the material in a different light. -BC

  • ha. i read on another video that you were a teacher?!? you could have made it performing as far as i am concerned. its cool these videos are free.

  • Thanks! Yes I am a Teacher. I don't know about making it performing though. There are a lot of really talented people out there that can't make a living because the music industry seems to be more about luck, image or how marketable you are, as opposed to how well you might play or write music. Maybe one day things will change for the better for those out there that go for it. -BC

  • pretty good

  • I have 2 Takamine a F400 12 and a C128 that I got back in the 70s. Great sounding guitars even at 33 year old and still Play. Keep it going

  • I know what you mean. I really like both of my Takamine Acoustics. They play and sound as good as anything out there. -BC

  • GREAT GUITAR!

  • really good guitar playing

  • Thank you! -BC

  • Sounds great!

  • good sound..however..slow down a bit..watch your strumming..needs more swing to it..

  • Very nice arrangement. Love it! Thanks for playing.

  • Thanks! - BC

  • hi buddy , are you familiar with , tell me , which was on the stones first l p ?

allso , the 12 string acoustic of , hotel california .

i would like to see you have a go at these two great songs , cheers jimmy :) .

  • Hi Jimmy,

I may do Hotel California eventually because of the 12-string. -BC

  • hi buddy , i,ll look forward to you doing , hotel california.

i,ve just thought of another great riff song

    for you to do .
