@Fishyboy1998 That should be a good size tank. Sorry I could not be more of help with ick. However do note that there are techniques that people use, that I do not use. Like a UV sterilizer or low salinity, which are the most popular ones. I find that UV's are too expensive and often enough are not sufficient enough. Low salinity, helps, but often times ick comes back as the parasite could remain inside the fish during low salinity. Let me know if you have any other questions.
I have tried to keep dwarf angels in my tank ( I have tried a red stripe and a coral beauty angel) but they didn't survive and they died of White spot. I now have 2 cleaner shrimp, 1 Niger triggerfish, a Picasso triggerfish, 2 firefish gobies, a diamond goby, 5 chromis and 1scooter blenny could you help me about the angels I would really like to add a lemonpeel to my tank but I don't want it to die like the other ones ( getting White spot then not recovering) PLEASE HELP!!!
@Fishyboy1998 Hi there, sorry to hear about your losses. Not sure exactly what you mean white spots, but I will assume it is marine ick. Unfortunately I have no hell there as I have not found a cure for ick. I had it in my tanks since I first set then up. What I do is I just let it run it's course. I have found out that the stronger the fish the better they fare out, with most surviving the ick. I feed them a strong diet, but it depends on the fish wuite alot of the times.
@Fishyboy1998 With that said, I have tried something that seems to work. You could set up a temporary tank, but make sure it can sustain fish life. Then use quickcure, they sell it at walmart, easy to find. However, given the fish, Angelfish, I have not had success, with this method as the medication affects they health severely. Thus, my only recomendation is to try other methods like lowering the salinity (place the fish in a seperate tank). Sorry not uch help there.
THANKS FOR THE HELP I am going to upgrade to a 400 litre tank
