  • why is there happy music on?wtf

  • We could due without the stupid music!

  • why did you have to add this stupid music. and shut up too you sound like a dumbass

  • LOL @ 3:12 the "superior training" of Las Vegas finest... he's putting on the pulse oximeter. LoL i can hear it now... "sir, you may have carbon monoxide poisoning! let me check... OK, pulse ox reading 100% you are good to go!" ROFL

  • @mrgearbox Could be using the Rad-57 which many many places are switching over to measures pulse ox and carbon monoxide levels.. just saying

  • @Dakota0626 Could be... but obviously not! First, The RAD-57 is a red and white hand-held device not a cardiac monitor. Second, the studies done on the RAD show it's not completely accurate. Studies done in 2010, video from 2007. Third, the monitor in the video is clearly a Lifepak 12. The Lifepak 15 has CO monitoring however was not in production in 2007. Fourth, even without a reading a victim of a fire with soot in his airway should be IMMEDIATELY placed on high flow O2... ABC's ring a bell?

  • @mrgearbox I truthfully didn't watch more than 30 seconds of this video, I found it to be pretty boring.. But anyhow, I became a Paramedic in 2010.. I couldnt tell you what was produced when. I understand that nothing is completely accurate but thats why we use multiple tools along with our own impression of the patient to treat the problem no? And does this guy have soot in the airway? If not then why does that matter in this case? Not a big deal, this is what? a four year old video? so..

  • @Dakota0626 it's ok though, i know you FD fan-boi types. blindly excuse poor patient care. keep applying you'll get on soon with your blind devotion!!!

  • @mrgearbox heh, I will admit to being a certified professional FF for 2 years and medic for 1, as well as working part time with a dept for 2 yrs, but as to being a fan boi... I think not. I enjoy pt care/ems more than firefighting and don't plan on making a full time career of it nor am I applying at any depts, actually just continuing my college education. Thanks for the enthusiasm though.. I guess, if nothing else you go two full responses out of me for an otherwise unremarkable video.

  • try and show more lvfd!

  • love those trucks who makes em

  • HUNKA HUNKA BURNING LOVE

    .

  • 2 people hit the dislike button accidently

    .

  • heros in my book

  • woah i like how those little stairs come out of the engin at 1:41

  • Does the CCFD run MEDIC/ALS engines?

  • haha fire sale. bum dum chhhh

  • The LVFD= Low life, thieving, piles of dog shit!

  • @justentime77 LVFD....well, at least its not the LAFD lol. LAFD are fucks. LVFD are paid good.

  • @Spartanizzo True and even though the LVPD are paid well, but they still exploited the system for years! The average fireman in Vegas was making $180,000 a year!! More then three times their normal salary because of loop holes with overtime and what not. That's all been stopped and they're screaming bloody murder. Fuck those dirt bag's.

  • The splinklers came down

  • the compinys deals are hot

  • that is a nice truck

  • If my business is on fire and some jackass comes along with a video camera asking, "Is there a fire sale?". That jackass can expect one smashed camera and a bloody nose.

  • Las Vegas fire, clark county fire, and North las Vegas fire all work off the same type of dispatch meaning the closest unit to the incident respondes. In this incident engine 12 from CCFD was first in and the second closest unit was from Las Vegas. This type of thing is common for these three departments here in the valley.

  • Henderson too, No?

  • so how does Clark County fire work? Do they just cover the county or do they cover the city to in conjunction with Las Vegs fire? Or were they called for mutrual aid on this fire?

  • Clark county covers the entire county of Clark County, with paid in the greater area of las vegas, and volunteer units in the rural areas.

There is also North Las Vegas FD, Henderson FD, and Las Vegas FD.

  • CCFD covers about 2/3 of the city in conjunction with Las Vegas. They also cover a very large area outside the city ie. the county. They also work in a few areas in conjunction with the North Las Vegas fire dept.

  • Clar county as previously mentioned is about 2/3 of the county, the yello engine is CCFD and the red is Las Vegas I believe. The engine is a 2006-07 Quantum II avg. response time 6 1/2 minutes. One of the BUSIEST stations in the country is CCFD Station 18 the headquarters for CCFD because it serves the Las Vegas strip with all the tourists residents etc.
