  • This video is indeed incredible. Our country has come a long way, but has quite a way to go.

    -Peace & Love

  • I HATE OBAMA I AM NOT RACIST BUT HE IS A socialist if you want to contact me go ahead please 11

  • ...I'm guessing you're a Republican, well everyone is entitled to their own opinions but at the end of the day Barack Obama is the President of U.S.A. Get used to him being in office.

Btw, your video was incredible! =]

  • This was absolutely captivating, you are so talented! Great message!

  • This Vedio speaks it all! Well said and done. Thanks for posting!!!

  • Every single one of us can look at what is happening and feel extra special for being part of a great moment in time wether you voted for him or not you cannot deny how good it feels to see such a wonderfull first family represent our great country. May god bless them and care for them.

  • This is a great video...we have come a long way...I would of never thought that we would have a black president n now I can say that "My President Is Black"...it's time for a change...GOD Bless Obama n in his own wrds..."Yes We Can"

  • Great Video, as a latina I am so proud of our country the United States of America is what has transpired yesterday we all "United" from different "States" for "America". God bless. Again thanks for the video and I too was in tears because that becon of the world that was us has been relit for generations to come. Obama stands for unity of all of us and thats why he won, he sees the differences in us and knows the true meaning of diversity and all it encompasses and has to offer. ~hugs~

  • This is an amazing video. As I black woman, when he first got the nomination,I told everyone I knew, don't be an ignorant voter; know the platforms. But last night, I cried. This means so much more than the fact that a man whom is consider "Black" is the most powerful man in America but the change that he was already made. His sea of supporters wheren't only black but every color under the sun and that was is what The Dream is all about. The Promise Land is not yet reached, but we're getting there.

  • well said- I am Indian American, and I started bawling when they announced "the first family of the United States" and just looking at the faces and tears of joy of those in the audience. I knew he was already solid on the policies, but he just flew and soared above and beyond that and hit a million birds with one stone (in a nonviolent way, unlike Palin). He is truly my biggest role model.

  • I remember what Obama said in his historic race speech- He said something along the lines of: The greatest thing about America is the fact that it can change so dramatically for the better and perfect itself over time the way no other nation does. I believe that to its very core when I think about how much our country has changed over this past century up to November 4, 2008.

  • OUR NEW PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA-Yes we did!Thank you America!History was made on November 4,2008 and that moment will be read and talked about for decades and centuries as our history unfolds to the world. The first African American president- He'll be the most charismatic, intelligent, respectful, imaginative, culturally diverse, optimistic, hard working, amazing speaking, good looking, organized, and open-minded president in the history of our country thus far.God Bless America!

  • PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA- One of the greatest moments of my lifetime.

  • at this single moment the world has become a bit brighter for a lot of people all over the world.

  • BLESS UP OBAMA!

  • we might be two different colors...but she is right...african americans had to actually struggle but no one ever wants to face the real truth...

  • About your video, OBAMA is all about we're all the same but the way u look at it is being the first black president which is totally against wat Obama's saying.

  • not true at all... McCaine is up 1 point right now. fixs ur title and whats with all the slavery pics, thats over now...

  • omg, cesarkeneza! YOU STINK JUST FOR SAYING THAT!!!! AND I'M A WHITE GIRL DEFENDING BLACK PEOPLE!! A WHITE GIRL WHOSE VOTING FOR MCCAIN AND DEFENDING BLACK PEOPLE! that was unhuman! and you know what??? Black people are just as good as white people! the only differences between the two is our color! we all came from the same maker (if you believe in god), and we all contain the same organs, body parts, etc.

  • America has come so far, but yet has so much further to go.

As we can see the politics of rhetoric and tom foolery continue.

Our Maverick is a real genuine and intelligent humanitarian, hell bent on change.

    -Sorry Republicans

  • "Barack Obama is our leader!"

    ...more like your furher.

seriously, why are you so desperate to be lead?

Thinking for yourself too hard for you?

  • Maybe u should ask the concerned authorities why we need a president or leader. Maybe we could just have anarchy. Did you forget what the US president is supposed to do? Lead over a country? Or did you forget the impact and importance the US president has over the country? If you did, then look at Bush and remember...

  • I will never vote for someone just because of their race black or white. The time will come that an African-American man or woman will be elcted president. Obama is not that man. His policies are far, far away from mainstream America. Colin Powell would have been a great choice, Clarence Thomas would be awesome, but we need him on the Supreme Court. So, please don't suggest that not voting for Obama is somehow racist.

  • Fair enough, but I wish people would stop suggesting I am only voting for Obama because he is black, as if Republicans are the only ones capable of independent thought.

  • Great Video!

  • VOTE McCAIN

    W IL DUCE

  • negroes stink!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • beautiful video and a very beautiful fitting song that brings out the feeling of the images. It makes one stand still by what is possible if a country makes the right choices, and what happens if it does not. thanks for putting it on.

  • Religion is the opiate of the masses. -- Karl Marx, 1843

It's not surprising that they get bitter, they cling to . . . religion . . . as a way to explain their frustrations. -- Barack Obama, 2008

    Sound Familiar

  • were all doomed if this clown gets elected

  • Very well put together!!

    Great Video!

    -The United States of America

  • this is not white guilt.

    it is Righteousness.

is it love for humanity in all its colors

if you dont have that love in your hearts then all you take from this is guilt. but im a white girl and i dont follow Barack or fight for civil rights out of guilt. far from it. i do it for the cause of Righteousness

    this is Christ's cause.

this is the cause of all humanity

  • So beautiful almost made me cry.

  • well if someone feels guilty from references to the slavery and the segregation era.. who's responsible for it? Blacks? We can't stroke anyone's ego here or go soft on the facts because they did happen. This is a heightened sense (almost paranoia) for white people that they're being targeted unfairly as being racist. They should know this heightened sensitivity (or "paranoia" that they're being discriminated against in situations) is what minorities go through almost every day. Empathy, people..

  • Fear of being called names, fear of rejection by your racist family and friends, fear of having to come by your living honestly, fear of having to pay your fair share toward the upkeep of the infrastructure drive people to vote Republican. A lack of understanding of diplomacy and military strategy cause people to confuse bluster with leadership.

It aint about guilt, it is about judgement.

Barack shows it. Clinton does not always. McCain rarely does.

  • America is still a Racist Country. Take it or leave it.

  • Unfortunately african on african slavery still contniues on in Africa to this day and hasn't stop since the last slave ship arrived in America.

  • Right just look at what Africans are doing to other Africans over the diamonds ENSLAVING MEN, WOMEN AND CHILDREN AND KILLING THEM SO THEY NEED TO HATE EACH OTHER. MY FAMILY NEVER OWNED ANY SLAVES EVER EVER EVER YET THEY JUDGE ME ON THAT WHICH THEY DON'T WANT TO BE JUDGED ON THE COLOR OF MY SKIN LOL. HYPOCRITES...

  • And if the Republicans have their way, that exploitation of working people, even to the point of enslaving them will get worse because there will be no barrirer to their trading the goods that their slaves produce. We are partly to blame for it because we allowed the free-traders to outsource our livelihood.

  • Take away the leadership and there is no "backbone", take away the backbone and there is no "leadership".

  • Excellent video! My opinion your opinion does not matter! Many people are voting today for a man who says he will make changes. We are out there voting with blind eyes. All Politicians say one thing to get YOUR VOTE and then do NOTHING! We all want to believe in his false hopes. We do need a change and it doesn't matter who we elect as a Democrat we are going to have CHANGE. My question is if Obama wins today March 4th will he be able to stand up after John McCain's Campaign? Then what????

  • Very nice video you have a great heart. Peace

  • This is a gr8 video to show the history to the present!!! good job...

  • As a foreigner who has always been interested and fascinated by the history of the US of A, this song and video brought tears to my eyes.

  • Whatever the outcome of the democratic nominations, Barack Obama has become and will always be a great inspiration in the lives of many the whole world over. BARACK 4EVA!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Barack Obama is not an immigrant. He was born in Hawaii. This may seem like a trivial detail, but the US Constitution only allows natural born citizens to assume the office.

  • yes true, I was making the point that he has lived outside the US, and has these experiences that immigrants can relate to

  • evidence...give me evidence instead of rants.

  • I love your video and I love the song you have playing with it. As a matter of fact I listen to it often. Kanye West did a remake of the song entitled "I Wonder." You should listen to its; it's equally inspiring.

More importantly, I love how you infuse questions to make the watcher of the video examine themselves as the video progresses.

    Keep up the GREAT WORK!!

  • I actually dug up Labi Siffre's song after listening to Kanye's "I wonder".. both versions are really good.. and of course, thanks to everyone for all the feedback

  • I also dug up the song after listening to Kanye. Not that it has much to do with anything I found out Labi was gay.

    VOTE BARACK 08!!!!!

  • Bravo!!

  • A beautiful tear evoking piece.

So much heart, so much love.

    Thank you
